Jo Caulfield started her career in an unusual manner, moving to London at the age of 17 to seek a career in music. She played drums for two years, highly inspired by The Cramps. Her band, however, did not progress since she lacked musical aptitude and talent. She began writing jobs for Graham Norton after her musical setback. She was also performing programs on BBC Radio 4 at the same time. Fortunately, she was able to get enough exposure as a comic to be nominated for ‘Funniest Woman 2010′ (LAFTA Awards).
She has appeared at prominent comedy clubs in the UK and abroad. She has undertaken two solo national tours to date. Furthermore, she has spent the last nine years working on a new solo comedy act for the Edinburgh Fringe. In October 2012, she launched her debut DVD on iTunes.
