According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred on campus Tuesday night. According to deputies, the victim was escorted to the hospital by friends after visiting campus safety.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said that a Nazareth College student had been taken into custody on Wednesday for raping another student the day before.
According to MCSO, a female student reported being raped by a person she knew on the evening of November 29 to campus security.
Her companions took her to the hospital, and MCSO was notified by campus security.

Sheriff’s deputies reported that they responded to the call at Nazareth College at 11:30 pm, and MCSO technicians responded to the hospital.
Sadly, no additional information on her or the accused was discovered because the Police have not yet provided any new details.

Joshua Mundia of Pittsford was taken into custody after the MCSO Major Crimes Unit conducted a prompt investigation.
The third-degree criminal charge of rape has been brought against the 19-year-old. His bond was set at $10,000 cash, $30,000 in bonds, and $45,000 in partially-secured bonds. He was remanded to the Monroe County Jail.
Mundia is currently prohibited from Nazareth College and has a protective order against him.
The accused is reportedly in detention, but there is currently no information accessible about him because of the ongoing inquiry. Home
