JULIANNE Hough has dressed down before she and everyone else dress up for Hollywood’s biggest night.
The actress and dancer shared intimate Instagram Stories on Saturday, sunbathing at home and preparing to host the Oscars Red Carpet.
Julianne, 36, filmed herself getting serious R&R ahead of the big gig tomorrow night.
She held her hand over her face as she sat in a deck chair at her $2 million Los Angeles mansion.
She seemed to be completely nude aside from a towel wrapped around her torso.
She told the camera: “Soaking it all in before the madness begins at the Oscars Red Carpet tomorrow.”
Julianne panned to show her serene surroundings on her terrace, which has gorgeous views of LA, while with her golden retriever, Sunny.
Next, the star shared a mirror selfie in a chic white dress for Red Carpet Rehearsal day.
In her following Instagram Story, she showed the red carpet being built with Oscar statues adorning the white backdrop.
“Things are happening!” she captioned the rare BTS video.
The red carpet – which was swiftly changed from champagne-colored last year, glowed in all its glory as she got ready for the big night.
The Dancing With the Stars host will co-host The Oscars Red Carpet Show on Sunday, March 10, at 6:30 E.T. on ABC.
The 30-minute official pre-show will see her hold court with the big stars ahead of the 96th annual Oscars alongside Vannessa Hudgens.
This marks Julianne Hough’s first year and Vanessa’s third consecutive year hosting the official pre-show.
SECRET TO HER WINNING FIGURE
Ahead of the major gig, Julianne also told E! News the secret to her fit figure.
“I know that I can walk around the hills with my dog,” she said.
“That’s key because I have to get her out, too. But movement in general, whether it’s 10 minutes or five minutes of something, I have to move my body.”
While Julianne revealed that she works out at least five times a week, she explained why she focuses on fitness from the inside out.
“This is the age of energetic health,” she explained, “because if you can change your energy, then you can change your mindset, and then you can change your physicality.
“We’ve been going about it the other way, which is: If I’m physical, then my body is going to look good. But if you focus more on your energy, then you get fitness as a plus.”
LIGHTS, CAMERA, OPPENHEIMER!
Meanwhile, the 96th edition of the Oscars will take place on Sunday, March 10, 2024, on ABC at 7 p.m. ET.
The Academy Awards will be held at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood, Los Angeles, California.
Late-night star Jimmy Kimmel will serve as host during this year’s edition – his fourth time behind the podium.
The latest round of movies, actors and directors in contention for trophies will duke it out for awards with Oppenheimer, Poor Things and Barbie leading the tally.
That said with 13 nominations it’s looking to be a big night for Oppenheimer and potentially Christopher Nolan’s first ever Best Director nod too.
It seems like the Barbenehimer craze has fizzled out and it’s going to be a big night for the Robert Oppenheimer biopic.
Other predicted winners include Emma Stone (Poor Things) and Da’Vine Joy Randolph (The Holdovers) for best supporting actress.
But there is still room for upsets with Anatomy of a Fall potentially sweeping in on Best Director, if not most certainly Best Original Screenplay.
