JULIE Chrisley has been accounted for and is spending the next few weeks ahead of her court date at an undisclosed facility, the star’s attorney exclusively told The U.S. Sun.
The Chrisley Knows Best star, 51, was recently released from the Federal Medical Center Lexington in Kentucky, where she served prison time for tax evasion and bank fraud.
In June, it was reported Julie’s initial seven-year prison sentence – which was later reduced by 14 months – was overturned after the judge found no evidence that she was entirely at fault for the fraud scheme.
Her husband Todd, 55, however, remains behind bars at the Federal Prison Camp in Pensacola, Florida, to complete his 12-year prison sentencing for his role in the crime.
Although Julie’s court appearance isn’t until September 25, her current placement is unknown, as the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) recently confirmed the TV star is no longer in their custody.
This has led fans to wonder where the South Carolina native is as she awaits her resentencing.
JULIE’S ATTORNEY SPEAKS OUT
Julie’s attorney, Jay Surgent, cleared the air on his client’s whereabouts, telling The U.S. Sun exclusively that she was transported to another facility for her safety.
“Julie was transferred out of Lexington, Kentucky. She’s scheduled to be in Atlanta, Georgia, on September 25,” her attorney revealed, noting that it was standard protocol with public figures.
“The U.S. Marshals Service does the transportation of federal prisoners. They never say where the prisoners are coming from, or where they are going, and when they’re in transport.
“I suspect at this point in time, I know Julie’s picked up some time ago. She’s probably not in transport. She’s probably being kept from state or county facility pending her Atlanta, Georgia, court date.”
Julie’s attorney added that the procedure ensures the reality star’s safety and that the location is likely “not far from Atlanta.”
“So it’s not like Julie’s missing from the system. Guaranteed that that’s not even possible. She’s transported privately, securely, nowhere. No one knows where she is.
“As her council, we would know what the situation was, but at this point, for security reasons, there’s no way in heck that they would ever say where she is,” Julie’s attorney said.
He noted that Julie’s family has also been kept in the dark about her location.
Fans have expressed their concerns about Julie on social media after the BOP’s website showed last week that the TV personality wasn’t in their custody.
Julie’s initial request to attend her court hearing virtually was denied, so she was forced to travel to her former hometown of Atlanta to appear before the judge.
She’s transported privately, securely, nowhere. No one knows where she is.

Savannah Chrisley, 27 – the youngest daughter of Todd and Julie – has been sharing updates on her platforms about her parents’ sentencings and called her mother’s possible early release a “little win.”
At the time, the Growing Up Chrisley alum revealed she was “hopeful” that her mother would be home by Thanksgiving this year.
She also spoke with her followers about Julie being MIA after one X user pointed out that she’d been unusually quiet about the matter.
“I’m not trying to keep anything secret. There are things that I don’t have answers to at this point and time,” Savannah responded.
“Per my lawyers I need to stay quiet until after mom’s resentencing date on September 25th. TRUST ME… so much I want to say!! Thank you for loving and supporting us!” the Unlocked podcast host added.
Todd and Julie are also parents of Chase, 28, and Grayson, 18.
Additionally, the Chrisley patriarch is a father to Kyle, 33, and Lindsie, 34, and a grandfather to Kyle’s daughter Chloe, 11, who is under Savannah’s care.
