KANYE West has resurfaced in Los Angeles for the first time in nearly six months.
The controversial rapper, 47, posed with friend A$AP Nast, 34, in diamond chains in front of an American flag on Friday, January 31.
Kanye showed off his grills as he flashed a rare smile, wearing white pants and a white jacket.
“I guess the money should [have] changed him, guess [I] should [have] forgot where I came from,” A$AP Nast wrote, quoting Kanye’s song Can’t Tell Me Nothing from his 2007 album Graduation.
Kanye reposted his friend’s Instagram photos to his own account.
Fans suspected Kanye was returning to the U.S. earlier this week, when he was spotted at a Tokyo airport with his wife, Bianca Censori.
Bianca, 30, did not appear to be with Kanye during his visit with A$AP Nast.
Kanye was last pictured in the U.S. on August 2, 2024, on a date night with Bianca in Santa Monica.
Though Bianca has made trips alone to LA, Kanye has been outside of the country ever since.
While he has lived mostly in Tokyo, he has also made trips to Italy and most recently Dubai for Bianca’s 30th birthday party.
FACING LEGAL DRAMA?
Kanye has been largely avoiding his mounting legal problems in the U.S.
He has been dropped by lawyers for allegedly not paying them, and has been accused of evading being served in various lawsuits.
Most recently, his ex-assistant Lauren Pisciotta asked the court to delay the next hearing because her legal team couldn’t find the rapper.
She even asked if she could serve him by publishing a notice in a local newspaper.
It is unclear if Kanye intends to deal with his legal troubles now that he’s finally back in the U.S.
It is also unknown if Kanye plans to see his four children in LA, where they live with their mom, Kim Kardashian.
Kanye recently saw his three youngest kids: Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5, in Tokyo during a visit earlier this month.
He later separately reunited with his oldest child North, 11, in Japan, where they recorded music for her upcoming debut album.
He reportedly hadn’t seen his kids in months before the recent reunions.
