Katie Price has completed a court-ordered spell in residential rehabilitation and returned to her family as she makes the next step in her recovery following a drunk drive accident in September.

The former glamour model, 43, originally suggested her stay at The Priory was over on Sunday by returning to social media with a photo of herself alongside son Harvey, 19, and fiancé Carl Woods, 32.

She will now remain with her loved ones following a month-long stay in treatment, a court assigned order resulting from a car accident on September 28th, after which she tested positive for alcohol and Class A drug cocaine.

It’s understood that Katie must remain out of trouble until December 15th, when she is expected back in court.

A day prior to her social media return, she shared a photo of herself with her mother Amy after visiting her at her home, captioning the shot: ‘Home is where Mum is.’

Katie also uploaded a photo with her mother Amy who required a breathing tube. Amy suffers from the terminal illness idopathic pulmonary fibrosis- which causes scarring to the lungs and makes it difficult to breathe.

Exact details of Katie’s rehab order, or allowances to leave treatment, have not been disclosed, however, patients at The Priory who have not been detained under the Mental Health Act are able to leave the facility at the discretion of the staff.

The star’s return to social media comes after Katie crashed her BMW while double the drink-drive limit after leaving her home to allegedly hunt for drugs during an all-night alcohol and cocaine bender in September, and was subsequently arrested before pleading guilty in court.

Last month, Katie’s sentencing was deferred on the condition she would have treatment at The Priory, not commit any further offences, and be banned from driving in the interim

The former Celebrity Big Brother housemate recently apologised for her actions in her drink-and-drug-fuelled crash, stating she has ‘taken full responsibility for her actions’.

A statement given by her family to the Sunday Mirror read: ‘Kate acknowledges and takes full responsibility for her actions. She knows they were wrong and apologises. Kate is deeply loved and she loves her family.

‘We are all there for her right now – and her children, who she loves dearly, are giving her strength as a mum.’

Katie could face prison after being charged with driving while unfit to drive through drink, using a motor vehicle on a public place without third-party insurance and driving while disqualified.

The star was told that her sentencing had been deferred for 11 weeks until December 15 to allow her to have treatment at The Priory and speak to the probation service.

Chair of the bench Julie Hutton told her she could leave but warned her against driving in the interim, saying: ‘You are free to go and good luck at the Priory.’

The star is mum to Junior, 16, and Princess, 14, who she shares with Peter Andre, as well as Jett, eight, and Bunny, seven, with ex-husband Kieran Hayler and Harvey, 18, with Dwight Yorke.
