KIMORA Lee Simmons has opened up about her daughter’s infamous vacation activity.
The ex-wife of Russell Simmons revealed how she reacted to news of their daughter’s romance.
Last month, Aoki Simmons, 21, was spotted kissing restaurateur Vittorio Assaf, 65, while in St. Barts.
Pics from the Caribbean island showed the couple in swimwear as they passionately embraced on the beach.
Now, Kimora, 49, has opened up about her thoughts on the unique pairing her daughter entered into.
Kimora was “a little bit embarrassed” by the revelation of the photos, according to TMZ via Page Six.
The model added that at the time, she told Aoki “it is what is is,” and urged her to “come on home.”
Kimora added that she had her daughter’s back, and hinted that due to the “age dynamic” between Aoki and Vittorio she thought that Aoki was “set up a little bit.”
The supportive mother also stressed that her daughter wasn’t dating the older man, saying that beyond the kissing Aoki and Vittorio weren’t “an anything.”
“She’s a young pretty girl. I think we don’t think the toads that we may kiss are going to be broadcast as a thing,” she concluded.
JUST A NUMBER?
While Aoki’s romance with Vittorio was short-lived, seemingly spanning just a few days, it seems it may not have been the Serafina Restaurant Group founder’s first time with a younger woman.
According to a source close to Vittorio, the multi-millionaire is an “older man with little boy charm.”

They added, “He’s always loved younger beautiful women. He’s gotten older, but his taste hasn’t changed. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s out with another young girl tonight!”
On social media, however, fans weren’t quite as relaxed about Aoki and Vittorio’s age difference of over 4 decades.
“Girl that man is an old creep. You’re too smart and beautiful to fall for such a classic pattern,” one person wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“A 65 yr old man? Blink once for help. Twice and we’ll send the cops,” said a second.

‘SMART AND BEAUTIFUL’
Fans claimed that Aoki was “too smart” to be with Vittorio, after she started an Ivy League college aged just 16.
The model graduated from Harvard in 2023 with a double major as a Bachelor of Arts and Classics.
Aoki shared pics from her graduation day, with some of her fans reposting the shots on Reddit.
“Beauty and brains. Love to see it!” one fan gushed.
On Instagram, however, one troll left a slew of comments accusing Aoki of using her celebrity parents to get herself into Harvard.
“Everyone knows Harvard is accepting her because of her parents,” read one of many comments on a throwback photo.
Aoki soon clapped back, screenshotting the trolls’ numerous rants and responding, “Get a job weirdo.”
