Rubin posted a sweet message to Instagram Thursday about actress Jane Seymour after she came on his show.

Seymour sat down with Rubin in the KTLA studio to promote the new season of her show, Harry Wild.

“With a filmography as long as my arm, @janeseymour needs no further introduction,” Rubin wrote on X.

“And she isn’t stopping anytime soon… Following the success of her Netflix film, “Irish Wish”, season 3 of “Harry Wild” will also debut on May 13 on AcornTV.”

The 64-year-old suffered a fatal heart attack after doing his regular Hollywood news segment on Friday, according to Variety.

The news anchor was rushed from his home to a Los Angeles hospital, where he went into full cardiac arrest, per TMZ.

Rubin was well-known for his celebrity coverage in Hollywood, having worked on the KTLA morning news show since 1991.

He was a multi-time Emmy winner and recipient of the Golden Mike Award, a lifetime achievement award handed out by the Southern California Broadcasters Association.

He was also a founding member of the Broadcast Film Critics, the largest organization of broadcast and film critics in the US.

GONE TOO SOON

Rubin’s colleague, Frank Buckley, announced his untimely death on live TV on Friday.

“The Sam that you saw on the air is the Sam that was off the air,” he said.

“To all of us, he shared his mornings with us on television, and to those he worked with behind the scenes at KTLA, we will not forget him.”

After learning about the anchor’s passing, several celebrities posted condolences on social media — including Rubin’s last guest, Seymour.

“It’s hard to believe that just yesterday I was with @samontv,” the actress posted on Instagram alongside a photo of the pair.

To all of us, he shared his mornings with us on television, and to those he worked with behind the scenes at KTLA, we will not forget him.

“I’m deeply saddened by the news of his passing. He was consistently kind, happy, and always ready to offer assistance with any project I was a part of. You will be missed Sam,” she said.

“So incredibly sad. May he Rest in Peace. I’m sure he was happy having you as one of his last guests. An LA institution,” a fan replied.

Other Hollywood stars shared their sadness too.

“Sam Rubin, you will be missed. A good guy that Sam,” actor Tom Hanks wrote on Instagram.

“RIP Sam Rubin… Your professionalism was unmatched by your kindness and humanity. I will miss your presence on The Red Carpet. God bless your loved ones. Godspeed,” actress Viola Davis said on Instagram.

“Even if I was on my 85th interview that day, I was always happy to see Sam. Even if HE was on his 85th interview that day, he always brought genuine kindness, curiosity, and an outside-the-box question,” actor Ryan Renolds commented.
