KYLIE Jenner’s ex-BFF has shared a new video talking about women’s looks on social media.
Pia Mia, 27, discussed the topics of friendship, fashion, and attraction to others.
In an Instagram post, Kylie’s, 26, former bestie filmed herself in the bathroom while curling her hair.
She had her make-up perfected and wore a navy blue tank top with a gold necklace around her neck.
While viewing the video, followers could hear a woman talking.
The narrator began: “I can’t remember anyone I’ve ever seen at a public pool with such a memorable body, good or bad, that I think about it ever again.
“I’ve never been enamored by an attractive person in a bar or at an airport enough for them to grab my attention more than just the once.
“I’ve never thought ‘I wonder if that woman’s jeans are a bigger size this year than they were last year.’ Never sat at a table at a party and repeated a story about the way someone’s arms looked in their tank top or which notch someone had on their belt when I saw them last.”
The narrator went on to explain that she will let her know that her friends are beautiful, then explain what makes them that way – and not talk about what they look like.
“Not that their frame is small or their clothes are expensive because it is one thing to want to be looked at and another to want to be known,” she concluded.
CALLING KYLIE OUT?
Last January, Pia revealed a scathing TikTok that appeared to throw shade about being cut out of her former friend group.
In the video, she discussed the hurtful slight and opened up about feeling left out.
She titled her video “here for u,” and showed the Do It Again singer applying her makeup as she discussed her career at the time.
Pia opened by explaining: “I have worked in the music industry, entertainment industry, in LA for 10-plus years and yesterday I just had one of those days where you’re just completely over it and want to go home.”
The Touch artist stated that it feels “a little bit awkward” to talk to her followers about the hardships she’s experiencing but that she hopes it will help.
Pia then disclosed that the relationships she fostered while living in Los Angeles feel very “transactional.”
She revealed: “Even if you’re friends with someone for years, and you actually think that friendship is real, the second that they think you’re not hot enough, famous enough, or making enough money… you’re cut from the group.
“Without anyone telling you anything and without you doing anything wrong.”
The singer admitted frankly: “That s**t is just terrible.”
Pia also explained that it “feels like you can only be associated with if you’re hot in the moment,” before voicing, “that’s not what real friendship and real relationships are.”
The Boys & Girls hitmaker acknowledged: “I do understand to a degree that this is a business, but we are humans too.”
Pia mentioned that she feels it’s “important to shed light” on the treatment of people within these circles because “everyone always acts like everything’s okay.
“It’s important to show that everything is not great all the time and you can still come back from moments or periods in your career where feel like it’s not going the way that you want it to.”
She then warned: “The people who do only want to be around you when you’re ‘hot enough,’ just take note of it. It’s not personal.”
‘FIRST NAME THAT POPPED INTO MY HEAD’
Fans began to speculate about the person, or friends, Pia could be referring to in the post’s comment section.
One person wrote: “Kylie,” while another added, “First name that popped [into] my head!”
One eagle-eyed fan commented: “They don’t follow each other on Instagram maybe I’m reaching but… makes sense.”
“Ur not,” responded a second before adding, “Kylie was following her for years and like a couple [of] months ago she was still following her.. now she’s not.”
While a final commenter simply questioned: “Is she talking about Kylie? Because they use to be very close.”
KYLIE AND PIA’S FRIENDSHIP
Pia was friends with Kylie from 2013 to 2016 but details of their fallout have not been heavily documented.
It is rumored that the pair stopped being friends after she got a little too close to Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband Kanye West.
Rumors began to circulate that there was something going on between them but she has since heavily denied them.
“Kylie and her family are good friends of mine, I tried to ignore the media, but let me make it clear, the stories are completely false,” she said of the rumors, via The Things.
While the pair may not be as close as they once were, there appears to be no bad blood as she makes appearances at Kardashian-Jenner events.
Pia was even at her daughter’s first birthday party.
“Stormi is so cute,” Pia gushed during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
“I saw her for her first birthday and they did the whole carnival Astro storm. It was amazing. She’s the sweetest thing ever.”
Along with attending the pricy birthday bash, Pia also got her a sweet gift that’s connected to her own childhood.
“I got her a little — I always go to sleep with a star projector,” she told the outlet.
“When I fall asleep, it lights up my room and it makes it look like there’s stars and so I got her the same thing. Because I thought she would like to fall asleep with the stars too.”
At this time, Kylie has not commented on her fallout with Pia.
