Lottie Moss has claimed that she was given alcohol and drugs to get through modelling shoots.

The model, 24, said she thought taking drugs was ‘normal’ in the modelling industry as she alleged that she was given drugs when she was ‘exhausted’ at events.

Lottie claimed she didn’t feel like people ‘cared’ about her ‘wellbeing’.

Speaking about drug use in the industry, Lottie told the Call Her Daddy podcast: ‘I think I just thought it was normal and I was going to these events and parties and I was exhausted, that was the only way I was getting through it.

‘A lot of the time I would be showing up to set and I would not be happy and I didn’t want to do it, I’d be crying my eyes out and they said, “we’ll just get you some drugs, you can have a drink and then you’ll be fine”.

‘It was very much like that, “oh you’ll do this shoot, whether you’re sober or not. It’s going to happen”.’

Lottie, who recently spent a month seeking treatment for mental health issues and cocaine addiction, said taking drugs ‘shouldn’t be normalised’ in the ‘celebrity or fashion industry’.

Speaking about one incident when she became upset while working, she added: ‘I was at an event in Rome and I was crying my eyes out in the hotel and I was putting makeup on over my tears, it was bad.

‘They were just like, “you only have to be downstairs for an hour”. I don’t think there were a lot of people in that industry that cared about my wellbeing, I have to be real.’

The younger sister of Kate Moss also admitted that she felt under pressure to be like her supermodel sibling.

Lottie claimed that she was told that she had to ‘lose weight’ to be a model and said she felt self-conscious about her height, as she measures at 5ft 5in.

‘They wanted me to be Kate Moss part two. I was told I had to lose weight,’ she said.

‘I was told by people in the industry that I had to lose weight to do modelling.

‘There was one point at New York fashion week and they told me I had to get down to a 23in waist and I think it was like 34 hips or 32 hips, so – I was 18 – I worked out until I got down to that size.

‘I ate one piece of toast a day, I got there and, lo and behold, I wasn’t tall enough.’

Lottie claimed that although the fashion industry is ‘very body positive now’ it wasn’t when she was a teenager and started modelling at around age 16.

She continued: ‘My sister is 5ft 7in — she is just on the cusp of being tall enough, but for me I’m 5ft 5in.

‘I look back now and no wonder I had problems, because I was pushed into doing these things and getting to a certain weight and doing that. I’m surprised I never got an eating disorder from modelling.’

Lottie also said that although she is not ‘close’ with Kate, 48, she said her sister had been supportive of her recent stint in rehab.

She said: ‘Me and my sister have never been that close, so we never really spoke about it until I was in rehab. She was great, she said, “I love you, you’re great”.’

Lottie does not accuse her last agency of the being involved in the inappropriate behaviour, but she does comment about the relationship coming to an end.

Speaking about parting ways with her agency earlier this year, Lottie claimed she made the decision because ‘I didn’t think it served me a purpose’.

She added: ‘I didn’t have a great time being with them, I lost myself.

‘After rehab I needed to get rid of anything that had been holding me back and it was really holding me back being with an agency that I don’t think particularly embraced who I was.’

Since leaving with her modelling agency, Lottie has been focusing on her OnlyFans account and has been sharing content alongside Megan Barton-Hanson while in LA.

The duo confirmed their plans to film together last month, with Lottie admitting on her Story: ‘We’re going to live in the same apartment and shoot content together. It’s going to be so hot.’

OnlyFans is an online service that allows for public figures to charge fans a subscription to their site, where they often share content usually deemed too provocative for other social media platforms.

Lottie has previously claimed that she is making £70,000 a month from the site.

She lets users subscribe for free but charges fans extra to view racier content – including up to £1,000 for a naked video.
