A famed Lower East Side statue of the previous revolutionary and Soviet chief Vladimir Lenin, which is now on prime of an condominium constructing at 178 Norfolk St., has been illuminated within the colours of the Ukrainian flag.
The 18-foot copper statue stood for years on a rental constructing referred to as Red Square at 250 Houston St. The communist chief’s likeness confronted south towards Wall Street together with his arm prolonged.
