Socialite and fashion blogger Nadia Fairfax and financier Michael Wayne wed during a lavish marriage celebration in Sydney on Thursday.

And on Monday, the newlyweds were seen arriving home from a whirlwind wedding weekend of luxury yachts, hotels and pool parties.

Nadia, 31, and Michael, 33, looked a little weary as they unpacked a bootful of alcohol and belongings.

A makeup-free Nadia was dressed casually with her blonde locks up in a messy bun as she carried pairs of high heels in her arms.

She also toted two large bottles of Grey Goose vodka, while other cases of Veuve Clicquot Champagne and beer were visible in the open trunk.

Nadia had a conversation on the phone as she carried a heavy box of Veuve Clicquot towards the couple’s home.

The pair were wed in a no-expense-spared ceremony at Swifts, a heritage-listed late-Victorian Gothic Revival mansion in Sydney’s Darling Point.

Nadia announced her engagement to Michael in March last year, and they were married almost a year to the day later.

The Sydney Morning Herald first revealed Nadia and Michael were dating in February 2019.

A friend of the fashion blogger was quoted as saying: ‘He’s her biggest champion and isn’t threatened by her success.’

The publication said the pair first met at Montarna McDonald’s December 2018 wedding to Nick Pitt.

Nadia is considered one of Sydney’s fashion ‘It’ girls, and has been pictured with Anna Wintour and the late Karl Lagerfeld.

Meanwhile, Michael is the Managing Director of Medallion Financial, and a regular contributor on Sky Business.

Nadia is the daughter of former rugby union and rugby league player, Russell Fairfax, 68, and gymnastics coach mother Sharon.
