Additionally, Manchester United released a statement on January 30 stating that Mason Greenwood will not practice or play until further notice.

“We are aware of photographs and claims circulating on social media,” the statement says.
The club said in its public statement that it would not decide on Greenwood’s future with the club until the inquiry is completed and until the “facts have been established.

Moreover, the club’s statement read that the team will not make any additional statements until the facts are known, and violence of any type is not tolerated at Manchester United.
Manchester United’s statement provides no timetable for a possible comeback for Mason, and it does not commit the player’s return at all.
