My name is Jasmine Sjöberg Sidibe. I am in the international model, parttime air hostess, health care, and beauty Passionist. I was mostly influenced by Tyra Banks — and my mother. I wanted to be an international model like Tyra banks. There were no models who looked like me where I grew up — but I saw Tyra Banks on tv and I was thinking — I wanna be like her. My mum inspired me to be creative, to work hard, and be a multitasking woman with many ideas — she is a very strong woman.
Q: What kind of training have you had, if any?
Whenit comes to modeling — it was such a passion so I did shoot every week. Sometimes even daily. I never went to a model school. But I have held some model classes for teenagers — that was fun!
Q: What has been your favourite project to work on so far?
I really enjoyed flying to Malaysia to participate in the Ósave the oceanÓ project together with WWF — Malaysia in miss scuba international 2019. I had to take a diving license for that venue. It was a great experience to discover the underwater world and to help share awareness about how human behaviors affect the global environment. It is important to be aware of how we all are connected. It was one off the most amazing projects I did.
Q: Why did you choose to pursue a career as a model?
I wanted to see the world and to learn about the world. I love to discover new places and cultures. You grow so much inside. You get to know yourself and this planet. Modeling brought me to places I could only dream of and it also taught me that sometimes we may think one place is in a certain way — but we don«t really know fully until we have experienced it. I enjoy to get these AHA — moments. You could add that to every aspect in your life — so don«t prejudge — because you don«t know until you know.
Q: What sports do you enjoy watching?
Water sports fascinates me. Underwater diving, surfing, sailing. I have big respect for the ocean and underwater wildlife.
Q: What has been one of the biggest highlights/achievements of your career?
I was very happy when I was signed with my model agency in South Africa, Cape Town. I really enjoyed being there. It was one off my career goals — to go there, because of all the amazing things I heard from the models. The market is also commercial and this is my favorite field.
Q: Do you have any advice for young music makers like yourself?
I am a newbie into music. I started out by doing few covers. I really enjoy to sing and hopefully, I make an album one day. I see myself as a singer more then a music maker. Any advice I can give is — put your things out there and do what you love. It might take you all over the world. Do what makes you happy.

Q: Who is your inspiration?
The people I love. They inspire me the most!
Q: What’s the most interesting thing you’ve read or seen this week?
I was out on a Swedish Island yesterday. I was swimming in the ocean and I saw the biggest yellow butterfly you can imagine. A yellow butterfly means happiness and prosperity — so it was a good sign for what is coming next into my life.
Q: What are your favorite venues to perform in?
Everything that contains traveling to dreamy destinations.
Q: What is your greatest strength, as a model?
I think of my heritage. People tell me I can be Brazilian, African, Indian, South American, European. But I am Guinean and Swedish.
Q: What are your goals as a model?
I think I have achieved most of my model goals today. I want to inspire others to travel, be healthy, to take care of themselves — be open-minded, to believe, and to follow their true dreams. It is worth it. “We only regret the things we never did”.
