Sidney Poitier had six children in total, all daughters
Poitier married his first wife, Juanita Hardy, in April 1950. He was 23, having been born in 1927.
They stayed together for 15 years, and raised their family in Stuyesant, New York, in a house on the Hudson River (which is now a “premier hunting outfitter” open to the public).
Sidney Poitier had four daughters with his first wife Juanita Hardy. They are Beverly (born 1952), Pamela (1954), Sherri (1956) and Gina (1961)
With his second wife, Joanna Shimkus, he had two more daughters, Anika (born 1972) and Sydney Tamiia (1973).

Beverly married William J Q Mould, whose family were from Accra, Ghana, on September 5, 1970. The ceremony took place at the Poitier house. In 2001, she self-published a novel, Nana.
Pamela, born two years after Beverly, is an actor like her father. She’s also worked in location management and as a production assistant. Her mother Juanita, she once told an audience of children at the New Federal Theatre, “was half Cherokee”.
