NINETIES star Melissa Joan Hart recently attended a rock concert with her three children, as fans gushed that she looks ageless.
The actress, who is best known for playing Sabrina on Sabrina the Teenage Witch, posed for photos with her sons after they attended a Green Day concert in Nashville, Tennessee, on Friday, August 30.
Melissa, 48, was wearing a black blouse with a pair of matching shorts and Doc Martens, as she finished her monochromatic look with a belt bag.
She kept her makeup fresh and dewy, and tied her hair back into a ponytail.
She shared the sweet snaps on her Instagram account, with the caption, “When you go to rock out with your kids to Smashing Pumpkins and Green Day and run into Chloe and Jay Weinberg after.”
Jay, 33, is the son of longtime Bruce Springsteen drummer Max Weinberg, and is best known as the ex-drummer of heavy metal band Slipknot
Melissa’s fans praised her all-black ensemble in the comments section, with one person writing, “I love your outfit, Mel! [fire emoji]”
Another comment read, “You look so gorgeous! I love your outfit.”
“I hope your kids understand you’ve always been cooler than every 90s rock band!” a third Instagram user commented.
A fourth person added, “Reminds me of when you tried to go see Smashing Pumpkins on Sabrina.”
The Instagram user was referring to a Sabrina episode titled “The Great Mistake” that was first aired nearly three decades ago.
The story follows Sabrina after she ignores her aunts’ warnings and buys a faulty “tomorrow” ball from a supernatural traveling salesman.
The ball misleads Sabrina into thinking she’s going to earn a good grade on her science project, before she tries to sneak out to catch a Smashing Pumpkins concert.
Melissa later posted a short clip from the concert on her Instagram Stories, writing, “You reach a new level in the game of life when your kids want to go to the same concerts you do.”
She shares three sons, Mason Walter Wilkerson, 18, Braydon Hart Wilkerson, 16, and Tucker Wilkerson, 11, with her husband singer-songwriter Mark Wilkerson.
She has previously shared snippets from their life together on Instagram, including celebrating National Ice Cream Day with her kids earlier this year.
Melissa posted a selfie with Mark and their two older sons at an ice-cream shop, as they were all-smiles while enjoying their frozen desserts.
“When it’s #NationalIceCreamDay, you can’t deny the chance to celebrate!!!” she captioned the post. “Cookie dough flavor tonight!”
REMEMBERING MARTIN MULL
Earlier this year, Melissa led the cast of Sabrina in paying tribute to Martin Mull after his death in June.
Martin’s daughter Maggie confirmed his passing after a battle against a long illness in a statement at the time. He was 80.
The iconic actor and musician was best known for playing the character of Principal Willard Kraft on Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
“Rest in Peace my friend. The incredible #MartinMull (Principal Kraft) has left us for his eternal rest,” Melissa honored her co-star’s memory.
“I have such fond memories of working with him and being in awe of his huge body of work which before #SabrinaTheTeenageWitch included #Roseanne and #MrMom as the projects I knew him from.”
After Sabrina ended in 2003, Martin continued to expand his horizons and seek other roles, which Melissa said was an indomitable part of his character.
“He once told me that he takes every job he’s offered just in case the train comes to an end, which in this business tends to halt quickly,” she said.
“But he was an artist who liked to paint and build things with his hands, a musician, and a wonderful man who I am better for knowing,” she wrote on Instagram.
“He will be missed but this world has benefited from his being here. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends,” Melissa continued.
“I will continue to cherish the Martin Mull artwork hanging in my home!”
