MICHAEL Cera has fans doing a double take after the star debuted a new blonde hairdo at the 2024 Tribeca Festival.
On Saturday, the actor posed for photos sporting his changed look at the BMCC Theater in New York City.
Michael, 36, attended the festival for the premiere of his new film Sacramento, which he stars alongside Kristen Stewart and Maya Erskine.
The Superbad star swapped out his usually brown hair color for a lightened-up style, adding a tousled appearance to his short, curly locks.
He kept his grooming to minimal facial hair and rounded out his look with black-rimmed eyeglasses, a light blue collared shirt covered with a tan sweater, blue pants, and brown shoes.
It’s unclear what drove Michael’s makeover, though it’s assumed he did it for a role.

Last January, the Arrested Development star donned his naturally dark hair color while competing on Celebrity Jeopardy!
Michael’s performance on the game show baffled fans after he answered a clue wildly incorrectly, resulting in him losing all of his winnings.
Fans were still talking about the memorable mishap that July and laughed about the moment again on X, formerly Twitter.
“Can’t stop thinking about that time michael cera bet all of his jeopardy winnings on ‘what seabiscuit’ (the answer was the handmaid’s tale),” one fan wrote.
The post garnered over 40,000 likes and 2,000 retweets as fans tried to make sense of Michael’s faux pas.
His mistake happened during the Final Jeopardy! round under the category “Novels.”
“‘Breeders, Wives and Unwomen’ was the headline of the New York Times’ 1986 review of this novel,” the clue read.
Seemingly feeling confident in his answer, Michael bet $20,800, and responded, “What Seabiscuit,” with a drawing of a sad face.
“Guy heard the word ‘breeders’ and immediately assumed it was about horses, that’s adorable,” someone commented on X, referencing the clue.
“Honestly? Going for the funny answer when you don’t know the actual answer is a route that more Jeopardy contestants should be taking,” someone else added.

Meanwhile, other fans gushed over the Barbie star’s appearance, saying it was “cute” he didn’t know the answer.
And others found the episode “cringe” after Michael and his fellow contestant, actress Zoë Chao, failed to guess correctly.
At the time, The Big Bang Theory alum Mayim Bialik, 48, hosted the show after spending two years as co-host of Jeopardy! following the program’s longtime host Alex Trebek’s death.
She shared her hosting duties with former Jeopardy! champ Ken Jennings, 50, as they alternated episodes.
Mayim ended up leaving the show in May 2023 in solidarity with the writers’ strike and Ken became the full-time host.
