Mike Ditka is an 82 years old nationalist who often comes on the news for his criticisms against players who don’t respect the national anthem before the game. He is still alive at the present date because there is no news regarding his demise on the internet.
However, he suffered from a mild heart attack in 2018 at the age of 79, when he was playing golf in Florida, where his friends took him to a hospital. From there, he was a bit weak for a couple of days.
In his treatment: four sents were installed to open the arteries and a pacemaker to stable his heartbeat. He was fine after the treatment, as he mentioned in his interview.
