Milka Djurasovic’s photo is not available on the internet just yet as the authorities have not revealed her images.

She has been on trial in the Supreme Court over the deaths of 10-year-old Mia and six-year-old Tiana at the family’s home in the northern Perth suburb of Madeley in October 2019.

The lack of images could be due to her ongoing trial. Her trial has not ended yet and the verdict of her being not guilty or guilty has not come yet.

Talking about her 2021 update, Milka has confessed to the murdering of her two young girls but argues she is not guilty as she was not mentally sound when the incident occurred.

She was diagnosed after the killings with major depression with psychotic features. Milka was also suffering from worsening mental health issues in the past as well.

According to ABC News, both the prosecution and the defense are submitting that the 40-year-old should not be held criminally responsible for the deaths because she was not of sound mind and did not have the capacity to know that she ought not to do what she did.

The couple lived together at the home in the suburbs of Perth with their two children.

She killed her two young daughters while her husband was away for work, she then tried to take her own life but failed as she face the time pressure of her husband returning from work according to ABC News.

Milka had also made a video apologizing for killing their daughter and urging him to let her die according to Perth Now.

Milka Djurasovic was later found near a Mullaloo beach car park with non-life-threatening self-inflicted wounds.

The 38-year-old appeared in Perth Magistrates Court on Monday via audio link from her hospital bed charged with two counts of murder.

She was remanded in custody to face Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court on November 27.

Flowers and teddy bears have been left outside the home of the family, who are geographically from Bosnia but identify as Serbian.

St Sava Serbian Orthodox Church protopresbyter Sasa Stojanovic told AAP he knew the whole family and had been in contact with them since the tragedy.

Talent Co. Dance and Entertainment dance school described one of the girls as a ‘popular, kind and beautiful student’.

‘Her last class with us was memorable as she had the whole class in stitches with her hilarious story, a wonderful lasting memory for her classmates,’ the dance school posted on Facebook.
