Olivia Molly Rogers made the bold decision to ditch alcohol a year ago and she has never looked back.
In an interview with 9Honey on Thursday, the former Miss Universe Australia said it’s been a decision that has completely changed her mindset.
‘I feel so much more confident and comfortable,’ she said.

Olivia, 30, recently posted some Instagram snaps celebrating her anniversary at Melbourne’s Crown Casino.
‘Sobriety isn’t easy in a culture that is so heavily focused on drinking, but it’s the greatest thing I’ve ever done for my mental health,’ she wrote.
Olivia originally made the decision to go dry for one month after a big night out in May resulted in a mind-numbing hangover.

Olivia admitted it was difficult at first as she would constantly have to field questions about why she wasn’t drinking.
Her decision also led to some awkward personal queries.
‘If you’re not drinking alcohol, then “Oh, you must be pregnant or you might be trying to get pregnant,” she said.

The budding artist found it got easier over time, as firmly telling people ‘I don’t drink’ made them drop the subject.
Olivia is so committed to staying dry she did not touch a drop of alcohol at her wedding.
She married Justin McKeone in February after the pair were forced to cancel their wedding twice due to the pandemic.
The couple met at the start of 2018 before stepping out together at the Aussie Formula One Grand Prix.
