Mohammed Fareeduddin Died From Cardiac Arrest Age 64
Mohammed Fareeduddin, a senior Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party leader and former minister, died on December 29, 2021. He passed away due to cardiac arrest.
He was hospitalized at AIG Hospital in Hyderabad and died on December 29th, Wednesday night. He has been suffering from liver disease and Fariduddin’s death was grieved by Chief Minister Kalwakuntla Chandrasekhara Rao.

The CM recalled their contributions as a minority leader and people’s representative. The Chief Minister extended his heartfelt condolences to Fariduddin’s family.
Fariduddin was born in the village of Hotibi in the Zaheerabad district and rose through the ranks of the Congress to become a politician. In the joint Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections of 1999, he ran for the Congress and won the Zaheerabad Assembly constituency.
He was elected to his second term as an MLA in 2004 and served in the late CM YS Rajasekhara Reddy’s government as a minister. After the state was partitioned, he joined the TRS.
In 2016, he was elected as a member of the TRS legislature. His term as MLC, which began in October 2016, came to an end in June of this year.

The constituency, which has elected INC representatives in all but one election since 1957, became reserved for candidates from the Scheduled Castes in the 2009 elections, and his party chose J. Geeta Reddy as their candidate. As a result, Fareeduddin contested for the Amberpet constituency, losing to Bharatiya Janata Party’s G. Kishan Reddy.
Fareeduddin was accused of encouraging his Zahirabad supporters to vote for any party other than the INC in the 2014 elections. In August of 2014, he joined the TRS.
Fareeduddin was elected as a Member of the Legislative Council of Telangana in 2016, as a TRS politician. Telangana was founded in 2014 by the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
Following the election of Thummala Nageswara Rao as an MLA, the office had become vacant. Under the terms of the MLA’s quota, the election was held without opposition.
