This is the moment a barred customer smashes a Spar shop manager in the head with a brick after being told to leave.
CCTV footage shows thug Damien Gray lunging at store boss Ricky Jones with the makeshift weapon before the manager grapples with him and wrestles him to the ground.
Gray, 34, had previously been barred from the Spar shop in Llangefni on Anglesey but tried to buy alcohol. When Mr Jones recognised him, he escorted Gray outside.
But Gray said the incident made him feel ‘intimidated’ and he returned to the shop armed with a brick before launching the ‘appallingly violent attack’.
A judge jailed him for 10 months for possessing an offensive weapon and common assault.

He gave Gray his money back and told him to leave. Ms Gordon said: ‘As he was being escorted out, the defendant grabbed Mr Jones by the neck and grabbed hold of his scarf’ and called the manager ‘an alien’.
Once Gray was gone, Mr Jones rang police. But the prosecutor said Gray then returned to the store with a brick and was ‘muttering to himself’.
She said Gray tried to hit Mr Jones with the brick which caused scratches and cuts on his head.
He went to hospital to be checked for a possible concussion and suffered from a headache and sensitivity to light the following day.
Gray, fromLlangefni, accepted that he should not have returned with the brick.
Jailing Gray, judge Her Honour Nicola Jones also imposed a two-year restraining order banning the defendant from entering the Spar in Llangefni or contacting Ricky Jones directly or indirectly.
North Wales Police called it an ‘appallingly violent attack’ and welcomed the sentence.
