Democrats and people on the left have been blaming the attack on Paul Pelosi on Republicans, claiming they are inciting violence against people, despite Republicans not having anything to do with the man who attacked Pelosi. Even Joe Biden has gone there, blaming the questioning of elections for the attack and stating such “talk” must be “stopped.”

While the Democrats are doing that, they are ignoring all the violence from the left including such incidents as the GOP baseball practice shooting, all the many attacks on Trump supporters, the attacks on crisis pregnancy centers, and the assassination attempt against Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

The Pelosi attack has gotten a lot of attention and rightfully so since it involves the husband of the Speaker of the House. But Democrats and media tend to ignore when the violence comes from the left. We saw that when Democrats spend all their time talking about the riot on Jan. 6 while largely ignoring or excusing the hundreds of BLM/Antifa riots.

The violence from the left is out there and it’s palpable, according to Republican New Hampshire state Senate candidate Lou Garguilo, who says that he and his supporters have faced multiple violent incidents over the past few days. Gargiulo says it’s getting rough.

“There’s an extraordinary amount of hostility from some people,” he told NH Journal. He said that a truck driver twice attempted to drive his truck into a group of his supporters holding campaign signs.

Gargiulo said the driver first drove up to a group of about 10 to 12 of his supporters holding campaign signs and swerved at the group. After driving past them, he turned his truck around and veered toward them a second time, Gargiulo said. The driver then pulled over, got out of his car, and started looking for an altercation.

“He wanted to get into a fistfight,” Gargiulo said.

After that scary situation was diffused, police were called about the matter. Seabrook Police did not respond to a request for comment on the incident.

“That’s beyond the norm,” he noted.

Gargiulo also explained that he’d had an iced coffee thrown at him and his wife had a power tool battery thrown at her over the weekend, “If that hit her in the head it could have killed her.” Rye Police Chief Kevin Walsh said they were investigating the battery incident.

Why haven’t we heard about these incidents on the national news, not just from the New Hampshire Journal? Gee, I wonder why.

Gargiulo made some other points about how bad it’s gotten, “I’ve been screamed at by women in their 70s and 80s,” he said. “There’s no filter anymore.” Gargiulo said his opponent hasn’t said anything to condemn these incidents.

“They can feel they are on the brink of a huge red wave and mentally they cannot handle it,” he said.

Gargiulo said Democrats are seeing their election message centered on abortion rights falling flat, and they have only themselves to blame. Granite Staters are worried about record inflation driving up costs at the grocery store and making it hard to heat their homes this coming winter.

“I see hostility, I see anger, it’s because they are not prepared to lose,” Gargiulo said.

Gargiulo’s race could decide control of the New Hampshire state Senate, which may be contributing to the mania.

The Rye Police Chief confirmed that the hostility was getting out of hand.

“It’s America, you can use your words and voice your opinion,” the police chief said. “The component we’re missing is you’re supposed to respect each other. My parents brought me up that you’re supposed to respect that people have different viewpoints.”

That seems to have long gone by.

Neil Levesque, executive director at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College, told Jack Heath that St. Anselm College is releasing a new poll Tuesday night, and the early numbers show “independents are breaking toward Republicans.”

“It’s trouble at the end [for Democrats] because inflation is the issue that’s swaying these independent voters toward Republicans,” Levesque told Heath.

That seems to be happening across the country and that bodes well for the red wave coming.

But that part — that Democrats are not prepared to lose — is so true. This anger that he’s facing from folks on the left may already be a foreshadowing of what we are likely to see across the country as the Democrats lose. They’re not going to be able to handle it and that’s going to cause a huge reaction. We think we’ve seen people questioning elections in the past –wait for what’s likely to come when they lose control.
