North Chicago IL Damari Perry Mother Arrested: Damari Perry’s mother, Jannie Perry, has been arrested for the murder of her son.
According to ABC Chicago, Jannie M. Perry was charged with first-degree murder, concealment of a homicide, and obstruction of justice by Lake County (IN) prosecutors on Saturday afternoon.
Who Is Jannie Perry?
Jannie Perry is the mother of a six-year-old who has been charged with murder. Family members reported missing after attending a party with his sister in Skokie. They claim that he disappeared shortly before 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
Jannie Perry claimed that Damari and his 16-year-old sister were allegedly driven from North Chicago to the party in Skokie by a guy and a woman. And, according to the sister, she fell asleep after “a few” beers, and both her brother and the stranger were gone two hours later.

North Chicago police collaborated with Skokie police and the FBI to search for the boy. However, they discovered his body near an abandoned house in Gary, Indiana’s 700 block of Van Buren Street.
The investigators said that the story from the family members is not valid. Therefore, they concealed the truth, which is why they were charged with obstruction of justice.

Jannie Perry, Mother Of Damari Perry From North Chicago IL Arrested For Murder
Three people, including Jannie Perry, the mother of Damari Perry, have been arrested for murder. However, after facts refuted the family’s narrative, investigators claimed they soon shifted their attention to the boy’s house in North Chicago.
Jannie M. Perry, Damari’s mother, is accused of first-degree murder, concealing a homicidal death, and obstructing justice.
Similarly, Jeremiah R. Perry, the boy’s 20-year-old brother, is charged with aggravated violence inflicting severe bodily damage to a child under 12, concealing a homicidal murder, and obstructing justice.
According to the Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office, another of Damari’s juvenile siblings faces charges in Juvenile Court in Lake County. All three were apprehended on Friday night.
According to a press statement from the State’s Attorney’s Office, more charges might be filed in the case. Nevertheless, all the three accused are expected to appear in court on Sunday for a bond hearing, reported Chicago CBS Local.

Damari Perry, son of Jannie Perry’s death cause, is murder. His mother and two other siblings are accused of murdering him.
