A young 20-year-old Merrillville High School QB has reportedly died. The news was confirmed by the school’s official Twitter handle, ‘MerrillvilleFootball.’
As per the Twitter post, “Please keep the family and friends of Aahric Whitehead in your thoughts, prayers, and heart as we mourn his passing. Aahric was beloved by his Pirate Football coaches and teammates.”
Merrillville’s senior quarterback, Aarhic, liked the competitiveness that exists at every position on the football team.
He had tremendous offensive talent as a senior quarterback, which helped the school to win many matches.
The authorities have denied revealing the person’s identity who got killed in the Wednesday shooting.
However, it is confirmed that one individual has died due to a shooting in a Merrillville area.

According to Merrillville Police Department Assistant Police Chief Kosta Nuses, first responders were summoned to a shooting in the 7800 block of Hendricks Street on Wednesday afternoon.

Whitehead was a 6’1″ tall QB from Merrillville High School, and he was a star player. He weighed 185 pounds.
One of the Twitter users said, “PRAYERS UP FOR EVERY TEAMMATE AND FAMILY. I’M GRIEVING WITH Y’ALL, BUT GODS GOT Y’ALL ALL LOVE.”
