Mabel (Selena Gomez), Charles (Steve Martin) and Oliver (Martin Short) try to clear their name in a new murder mystery in the teaser for Only Murders in the Building Season 2.

After successfully solving the murder in Season 1, Mabel was found standing over the body of Bunny (Jayne Houdyshell), with the trio arrested for their murder.

The trio finds themselves the subjects of a competing true crime podcast as they try to clear their name and find Bunny’s real killer, with a slew of new characters – and some secret tunnels in The Arconia –  revealed in the trailer for Season 2, which debuts on Hulu June 28.

The trailer finds Mabel, Charles and Oliver being interrogated by Detective Kreps (Michael Rappaport), who says, ‘You have no idea how much trouble you’re in, do you?’

They’re all seen leaving the 31st Precinct as Mabel and Charles both say ‘Oh my God,’ when they’re mobbed by reporters, but Oliver says, ‘Oh my God’ in a giddy way.

They all arrive at a party in their building – The Arconia – bearing food and drink, though one neighbor Uma (Jackie Hoffman) says, ‘Oh goody. The murderers are here.’

Charles insists, ‘We were framed,’ as Oliver adds, ‘It will all be on the podcast.’

Mabel asks Oliver if he still has that boom mic, and he says, ‘You bet your a** I do, kid… well, I don’t actually. I returned it in the 30-day window to get my deposit… but I can get it back!’

Mabel tells her partners that, ‘evidence keeps showing up in our apartments,’ with everything from an envelope full of cash to a watch and even a bloody chef’s knife which Charles wonders if that’s the murder weapon or not.

Oliver tries to put them at ease, while still holding the knife, ‘If this was about getting us caught the cops would be banging down that door,’ when a knock is heard at the door.

‘Why am I holding this knife?’ Oliver screams before chucking it into the ceiling above.

Mabel says they need to find the real killer, as we get glimpses of new cast members Amy Schumer and Shirley MacLaine, along with Cara Delevingne, who was reported earlier this month to be playing Alice, Mabel’s new love interest.

Oliver wants to look for new clues but Charles says they can’t be, ‘seen breaking into apartments.’

‘No one has to see us breaking in,’ Oliver says cryptically, as they’re shown an entrance to a secret series of tunnels that presumably winds all throughout the Arconia, as Charles exclaims, ‘My God.’

The final shot shows Charles saying, ‘We’re getting the hang of this,’ as Oliver agrees, adding, ‘Absolutely. You can tell it’s our second season, as Charles tries for a high-five but everyone leaves him hanging.
