With bars and pubs closed during lockdown, many Brits are getting creative in the kitchen – and not just when it comes to baking.
People have been going wild over a Vimto cocktail which uses just a few ingredients and looks mouthwateringly tasty.
The simple recipe involves three key elements – vodka, WKD Dark fruits and Cherryade, which are mixed together, with added Vimto Fizzy Pencils and Stawberry lace sweets to garnish.
People are going wild online after Kayleigh Syder, from Essex, shared a snapshot of her Vimto homemade cocktails
As well as the sweets and the boozy drinks, Kayleigh revealed how you could also make the drink into a ‘slushy’ using Slush Puppy mix available from a local supermarket.
Many said they couldn’t wait to try the cocktail, with some calling it an essential for summer BBQs in lockdown.

Many for at-home mixologists have been inspired throughout lockdown with their recipes for ‘quarantinis.’
One made his quarantini with vodka, Monster energy drink, and Cactus Cooler, and another turned a Corona beer over into a margarita.
And it’s not just beverages – with cafes and restaurants closed across the UK, other home chefs have taken the time to whip up some of their favourite fast food meals.
Chains including Greggs, Nandos, Pizza Express and Pret have all taken to social media to share recipes for their treats amid the lockdown.
