A serial con artist tricked two men into believing she had terminal cancer, rorting them of thousands of dollars and having them help raise her child in the process.

Rebecca Gray pleaded guilty to three counts of fraud in a Perth court on Tuesday after scamming the men out of $11,000 and lying about her deteriorating health.

Sean Fry, 32, dated Gray for 18 months and claimed he became a father figure to her three-year-old son and supported her through PTSD, a miscarriage and her terminal cancer diagnosis.

All the while Gray was feeding the same lies to another man, with her making up elaborate stories to stop each of them suspecting she may have been cheating.

‘She’s basically taken advantage of us and we’ve looked after her, and every time she’s gone over to [the other man’s] place she was telling me she was having her liver drained or a blood transfusion or a spinal tap,’ Mr Fry told Yahoo7.

Gray appeared to be shaking when she left court in a wheelchair pushed by her mother on Tuesday – a stunt Mr Fry believed was yet another manipulative tactic.

‘Yesterday she was picking or dropping off her kid and she was fine, and today she rolls into court in a wheelchair, shaking,’ he told Nine News

The court heard she met three men on dating app Tinder and fed them all an elaborate lie to scam them of money and help raising her child.

‘I nursed her through terminal liver cancer, PTSD, a pregnancy and miscarriage – which I later found out were all lies,’ Mr Fry said.

Under the illusion his girlfriend was dying, he paid all of her living expenses and some medical bills – not uncovering her lies until a year into the relationship.

‘You just don’t think someone who tells you they’ve got cancer, doesn’t have cancer – you just wouldn’t think someone would do that,’ he said.

Mr Fry said in the past six months his focus had been regaining contact with Gray’s child who she had cut both men off from seeing after her tall tales were exposed.

Gray is due to be sentenced later this year.
