Mumbai, Sep 25 (IANS) The impending Mani Ratnam film ‘Ponniyin Selvan-1’ spells sovereignty as it involves real gold adornments for its characters and was planned remembering the little subtleties of the Chola time frame.
The film, in light of Kalki Krishnamurthy’s 1955 novel of similar name, recounts the account of the beginning of Arulmozhivarman, who later turned into the incomparable Chola sovereign Rajaraja Chola I.

Discussing the gems plan of the movie, the head of the film, Mani Ratnam said in a discussion with IANS: “We gave exceptional accentuation to the outfit to make them trustworthy and loan the period-explicit credibility nevertheless bring out that feeling of sovereignty. We were extremely fortunate to have Kishandas (the gems planner) energetic about us and we worked with real gold adornments.”

He added: “The craftsmans worked around the little subtleties of the Chola time frame and made the adornments well defined for the characters.”
Gold, however, will in general act distinctively on camera given its brilliance. So was there a ton of to and fro on the plan? The chief uncovered: “It was not extremely troublesome once we sorted out the surface. It was more about the plan that we focussed on concerning what will be ideal for a specific person.”
‘Ponniyin Selvan: I’, which includes a troupe star cast of Vikram, Karthi, Trisha, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sobhita Dhulipala, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Prabhu, R. Sarathkumar, Vikram Prabhu, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Rahman and R. Parthiban, is showing up in films on September 30.
