RACHAEL RAY has shared her husband feels heartbreak about his career in a candid new podcast episode.
The TV chef, 56, has been married to her husband John Cusimano, 57, since 2005.
It seems that John, who works as a lawyer and a musician, regrets not becoming an A-list rockstar, with Rachael revealing his career failure heartbreak in an episode of her new “unscripted and raw” first podcast, I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead.
“We’re here in Tuscany,” Rachael explained in this week’s episode, adding how Jeremy Sisto – this episode’s guest – and her husband had been working on their songs together in the studio.
“My husband wanted to go to Berkeley and be Trent Reznor,” she revealed, referring to the famous Nine Inch Nails rocker.
Rachael then said how he “ended up a lawyer” but is still a working musician. He performs in the band The Cringe.
“It’s a bit of a heartbreak for him because he really feels like he could have been Trent Reznor,” she said.
“He’ll call me from the road when he’s on tour with one band or another, and he’ll say, ‘I just wish I was the headliner, I just wish I was up there tonight, Rachael went on.
Meanwhile, Rachael’s career appears to be going from strength to strength.
The TV chef’s $100million empire is reportedly built on her many television appearances, brand partnerships, cookbooks she has written, and cookware ranges she has released.
MARRIAGE SPATS
Rachael and her husband have feuded in the past, with the celebrity chef speaking about this publicly in the past.
“It’s very hard, especially for hot-tempered or creative loud people to be able to calm it down” she previously spilled.
“John and I don’t calm it down ever. We have huge screaming matches all the time.”
She then urged, “But I think it’s healthy, I really do. I don’t trust people who are too quiet.
“I prefer you tell me what you think when you think it, let’s all get it out there, I don’t know that we ever apologized to each other.

HEALTH CONCERNS
Rachael filed documents for her husband to be her power of attorney months before they married in 2005.
The chef sparked health concerns recently when she appeared to be slurring her words in cooking videos.
And in court papers exclusively obtained by The U.S. Sun, it is revealed that the popular chef filed for her husband to be her power of attorney decades before fans’ fears for her health began.
The document reads, “The powers you grant below continue to be effective should you become disabled or incompetent.
“Caution: This is an important document. It gives the person whom you designate (your agent) broad powers to handle your property during your lifetime, which may include powers to mortgage, sell, or otherwise dispose of any real or personal property without advance notice to you or approval by you.
“These powers will continue to exist even after you become disabled or incompetent.”
