Remy Ma has been married to rapper Papoose – real name Shamele Mackie – since 2008.
The two wed over the phone while she was in jail for shooting a woman.
They later renewed their vows in a lavish wedding ceremony.
In December of 2015, the couple tied the knot – again – at the Aria Wedding and Banquet Hall in Connecticut.

Remy Ma has one child, Jayson Scott, from a previous relationship, and is the step-mother to Papoose’s three children from his previous relationship.
On December 14, 2018, the couple celebrated the birth of their first child together, Reminisce Mackenzie.
In June 2024, it was reported that Remy’s son Jayson had been arrested and charged with first-degree murder.
He was arrested alongside Richard Swygert in the Jamaica neighborhood of Queens, New York.
They were charged with first-degree murder, criminal possession of a weapon, and reckless endangerment.

Cheating claims
On December 11, 2024, Remy Ma and Papoose were seen venting on social media about the relationship.
Remy Ma accused her husband of cheating on her and claimed he had been involved with another woman.
Firing back at her claims, Papoose also accused his wife of infidelity and labelled her a “narcissist.”
He denied her claims and said Remy was the one who had been unfaithful throughout their marriage.
The rapper went onto reveal that he had asked for a “divorce multiple times”.
