Making a Christmas dinner can be a tricky task, with figuring out how timings and making the potatoes fluffy and the turkey just right for each guest.
But one London restaurant has taken the trouble out of it and launched a whole Christmas dinner in a loaf of sourdough bread.
The Breakfast En Bread loaf, which costs £18 and serves one, comes complete with braised red cabbage, shredded sprouts, honey roasted parsnips, Chantenay carrots, pigs in blankets, chestnut and apricot stuffing, and is crowned with a whole roasted quail.

The festive feast is stuffed in a sourdough loaf, made by Gail’s bakery, and is nestled in with melted cheese; drizzled in cranberry sauce, and completed with red wine gravy.
To finish off, the dinner is garnished with thyme and black pepper for extra festive flavour.
The product is made by the Barge House restaurant in Hackney, east London, but delivers across the UK and is available until Christmas Eve.
Barge House also offers a vegetarian version, with a nut roast in place of the quail as well as non-festive versions of stuffed sourdough.

Inspired by Fred’s Parisian childhood and his father’s recipe of a Poilâne loaf filled with Fois Gras, black pudding, white pudding, quail and wild mushrooms, Fred and Debbie decided to create their own version of the winning formula of an English Breakfast perfectly paired with the French passion for bread and thus Breakfast En Bread was born.
It comes after online retailer MuscleFoods claimed it ‘revolutionised’ Christmas dinner with a meal kit that will enable you to prefer the entire festive feast in just 90 minutes.
Discount meat website has launched the two-pan Christmas dinner, including meats such as turkey, beef and pigs in blankets, as well as stuffing, roast potatoes, vegetables and gravy, which requires zero prepping.
Meanwhile, hundreds of restaurants, cafes, and hotels have released meals kits to make Christmas dinner at home easy.
