Demi Bennett is a professional wrestler from Australia who goes by the ring name Rhea Ripley. She rose to prominence as a wrestler in the WWE’s NXT UK brand. Rhea Ripley began her wrestling career in Riot City Wrestling in 2013, where she became a two-time RCW Women’s Champion, before making her New Horizon Pro Wrestling debut on May 24, 2014, at the opening night of the NHPW Global Conflict, where she competed in the Global Conflict Tournament.
On June 14, 2014, she made her Melbourne City Wrestling debut at MCW New Horizons, defending the RCW Women’s title in a three-way match against Savannah Summers and Toni Storm.
On April 22, 2017, she wrestled her final RCW encounter at RCW Strength, successfully defending the Women’s title against Kellyanne.
Demi joined the WWE in 2017 and competed in the first Mae Young Classic as Rhea Ripley. She then made her NXT broadcast debut on the October 25th, 2017 edition of “NXT,” and competed in the 2018 Mae Young Classic.

On the 18th December edition of “NXT,” Ripley defeated Baszler to capture the NXT Women’s Championship, making her the first person to win both the NXT Women’s and NXT UK Women’s Championships. She successfully defended her title against Toni Storm at Worlds Collide on January 25, 2020.
She appeared on the February 3rd, 2020 episode of “Raw,” confronting Royal Rumble winner Charlotte Flair and advising Flair to use her Royal Rumble title opportunity to challenge Ripley for the NXT Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 36.
She successfully defended the title against Belair in the aforementioned event, but lost it to Flair on the second night of WrestleMania 36.
Rhea had a one-month hiatus from WWE and returned to Australia the day after WrestleMania due to visa concerns, and she returned on the 6 May edition of “NXT” after a one-month hiatus.

Another rematch for the Raw Women’s Championship between Ripley and Asuka was slated for WrestleMania Backlash on May 3rd, but WWE official Sonya Deville added Flair to the championship match to make it a triple threat match.
Rhea successfully defended her championship by pinning Asuka at the event, and a Hell in a Cell match between Ripley and Flair was then organized, in which Flair defeated Ripley by DQ, allowing Ripley to retain her title.
However, she lost the championship to Flair in a rematch at Money in the Bank, bringing her reign to a stop after 98 days.
Bennett, in addition to wrestling, made her video game debut as a playable character in “WWE 2K20” and then in “WWE 2K Battlegrounds.”
