Teddi Mellencamp, known for her role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, recently had surgery to remove four brain tumors.
On February 26, she shared a heartfelt black and white video on her Instagram Stories, giving her followers a look at her recovery as surgical staples were taken out from the back of her head.
In the video, the 43-year-old appears emotional in her hospital bed as the last staple is removed. She is surrounded by family members who cheer her on with encouraging words like, “You did it” and “Good job, Teddi.”
She also posted another video showcasing a facial treatment from her friend Candace Marino, the founder of The LA Facialist.
Earlier that day, Mellencamp had shared her first update about her brain surgery, revealing through a brain scan that she had four tumors removed the week before.
“I am incredibly grateful for the amazing surgeons, doctors, and nurses who made my surgery a success and helped make my recovery as comfortable as possible,” she said. “Honestly, more tumors were removed than we initially thought: a total of four. This fight isn’t over yet, but I’ve won this round.”
She added, “The laughter, support, and patience from my children, family, and closest friends is a gift that I can’t fully express my gratitude for.” As she looks ahead to the next phase of her treatment, she expressed her appreciation for the outpouring of love and prayers she has received, saying, “I see them, and they are definitely helping me stay strong.”

Mellencamp first announced her hospitalization on February 12, as she was preparing for her brain surgery.
In a recent Instagram post, she revealed, “For the past few weeks, I’ve been dealing with severe and debilitating headaches. Yesterday, the pain became so intense that I had to go to the hospital. After a CT scan and MRI, doctors found multiple tumors in my brain, which they believe have been growing for at least six months.”

The celebrity mentioned that she will have surgery to remove some of the tumors, while the others will be treated with radiation therapy later on.
Mellencamp’s recent diagnosis comes amid her ongoing battle with skin cancer. Over the years, she has shared her journey of having more than 17 melanoma spots removed.
