A famous 00s reality star has resurfaced on social media with a completely different look and even a new name.
The former blond bombshell, who is now 41 years old, rose to fame as the scene-stealing runner-up of a VH1 dating competition show’s second season in 2008.
The demure brunette is Rock of Love season 2 finalist Daisy de la Hoya.
The reality star- who’s the niece of boxer Oscar de la Hoya- turned heads with her wild platinum locks, edgy style and tattoos as she posed on Hollywood red carpets in the 00s.
She also made her mark as a singer, and released a single, Heartbreaker, in 2007.
The following year, Daisy fought for rocker Bret Michaels’ heart, but ultimately lost to fellow contestant Ambre Lake.
She then starred on her own spinoff show, Daisy of Love, in 2009.
She went on to date actor Corey Haim before his sudden death in 2010 at just 38 years old.
Daisy, who now goes by her legal name Vanessa on Instagram, disappeared from public life as she struggled with sobriety and mental health issues.
In March 2024, 90 Day Fiancé stars Mariah Fineman and Tom Brooks accused Daisy of stalking them in a police report.
She denied stalking the pair, but admitted she had been suffering from a mental health episode during that time.
Daisy entered addiction treatment soon after the incident.
Now, Daisy claims she’s sober and active in the recovery community in San Diego.
She’s also in the process of launching a tee-shirt company called Stardust, and selling her creations on Etsy.
She also has been applying to colleges.
“I’m SO grateful for my best friends and support system right now,” she said recently. “They are really helping me to see the glass half full…Staying positive.”
