RYAN Seacrest’s ex-girlfriend Aubrey Paige has shared a cryptic post about being afraid on social media.
Last week, the American Idol host and his model girlfriend announced they had ended their relationship of three years.
On Saturday, Aubrey, 26, reshared a post from the Instagram account noteforeachday.
The post featured a blurry cityscape photo with a superimposed quote asking, “What are you so f**king afraid of?”
Aubrey didn’t explain why she reposted the message but it did follow another somewhat mysterious quote about self-reliance.
She reposted a November 2022 tweet from rapper Big Boss Vette, 26, that read, “At some point, you gotta help you, save you, change you, love you.”
Audrey captioned the quote, “Morning Inspo” with an added coffee emoji.
This past Wednesday, a source revealed to People that Aubrey and Ryan, 49, had decided to call it quits.
“After three beautiful years together, Ryan and Aubrey have mutually decided to part ways,” the source shared.
“They plan to stay in each other’s lives as good friends and support one another’s endeavors.”
A rep for the American Top 40 host confirmed the split.
The exes dated for about three years before splitting up.
They first went public with their relationship back in May 2021 after they were spotted in the Hamptons celebrating Memorial Day.
COPING WITH THE BREAKUP
On the same day as their breakup announcement, Aubrey shared a photo of herself in front of greenery and a pond.
The camera was pointed at her stomach, with her head cut out of the shot.
In one hand, she held a glass of wine to promote her side hustle, Sippin’ on Somethin’, which is a card-drinking game.
“You’re not sad, you just need wine @sippinonsomethin,” Aubrey captioned the post.
On Friday, Ryan seemed to be in a cheerful mood after the breakup.
He had a large smile on his face while celebrating his 20th anniversary at Los Angeles radio station KIIS-FM by meeting fans and handing out prizes in El Sereno, California.
FORTUNATE HOST
The breakup may offer Ryan more time to focus on his new hosting gig, as he is taking over for longtime Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak after he retires in June.
Ryan will take the reins in September.
When talking about taking over the job, Ryan wrote in an Instagram post, “I’m truly humbled to be stepping into the footsteps of the legendary Pat Sajak.
“I can say, along with the rest of America, that it’s been a privilege and pure joy to watch Pat and Vanna on our television screens for an unprecedented 40 years, making us smile every night and feel right at home with them.”
He concluded, “Pat, I love the way you’ve always celebrated the contestants and made viewers at home feel at ease. I look forward to learning everything I can from you during this transition.”
Ryan seems comfortable in his new position as he recently threw a playful quip at Vanna in a behind-the-scenes moment on Idol.
An Instagram video showed Ryan walking off stage to greet his future co-host.
He walked briskly toward Vanna and said, “Next puzzle,” – a line Pat regularly says to Vanna.
The pair laughed before embracing in a hug.
