Moreover, a security guard named José Ramírez talked about the incident as he worked in a restaurant located a few meters from where Santiago was killed.
Jose worked for a security company that provides its services to a restaurant. He said that the incident happened around 8.30 pm. During that time, it was raining heavily.
The security guard said he was helping a customer park, and suddenly he heard a loud noise. After that, he went to the place and saw a man lying on the ground.
Following that, the bus tried to escape, and people also attempted to stop the bus but couldn’t. However, some people witnessed the bus’s license plate.

Santiago Gangotena passed away on April 21, 2023, after being involved in a road accident. He was hit by a bus, and a security guard at the scene immediately called 911 for help. However, the ambulance took between 15 to 20 minutes to arrive. Unfortunately, Santiago passed away while waiting for medical attention, as the ambulance reportedly went in the opposite direction before reaching him.
The paramedics then transported him to the Hospital de los Valles, but he had already passed away. As of now, there are no details available about the bus or the driver involved in the accident.
