  2. He made his first film appearance in the 1974 Bollywood thriller film Benaam, a remake of the 1956 American suspense thriller film The Man Who Knew Too Much.
  3. Sharat Saxena appeared as Daga in the 1987 Hindi-language superhero film Mr. India, starring Anil Kapoor, Sridevi, and Amrish Puri.
  4. From 1988 to 1989, he portrayed the character of Kichaka (the army general of Matsya) in the Hindi-language epic television series Mahabharat.
  5. He brought to life the character of Raunak “Ronnie” Singh in the 1998 Hindi-language action film Ghulam, starring Aamir Khan and Rani Mukerji. This role got Saxena nominated in the “Best Villain” category at the 44th Filmfare Awards.
  6. Alongside Akshay Kumar, Govinda, Paresh Rawal, Lara Dutta, Rajpal Yadav, Jackie Shroff, Arbaaz Khan, Shakti Kapoor, Gurleen Chopra, and others, Sharat Saxena co-starred as Fredrick in the 2006 Hindi-language comedy thriller film Bhagam Bhag.
  7. He co-starred as Avtar Singh in the 2010 sports comedy film Kushti.
