Two-time Emmy winner John Mulaney reportedly checked into a Pennsylvania rehab last weekend for a 60-day stint to battle his cocaine and alcohol addiction.
‘John’s friends and family are happy that he’s finally getting some help and focusing on his health,’ a source told Page Six on Monday.
‘His fans know he’s struggled in the past with sobriety, he has talked about it openly. Unfortunately he has struggled again during the pandemic. He’s on board with his recovery. He’s not fighting against rehab.’

Last year, the 38-year-old comedian told Esquire that he ‘loved cocaine’ and ‘drank for attention’ as early as age 13.
‘I was really outgoing, and then at 12, I wasn’t. I didn’t know how to act. And then I was drinking, and I was hilarious again,’ John said in his cover story.
‘I never liked smoking pot. Then I tried cocaine, and I loved it. I wasn’t a good athlete, so maybe it was some young male thing of “This is the physical feat I can do. Three Vicodin and a tequila and I’m still standing. Who’s the athlete now?”‘
As a teen, Mulaney’s parents sent him to a psychiatrist, who told him he was ‘one part nice kid, one part gorilla that wants to kill the other half.’

John still occasionally writes for the NBC sketch show and he hosted SNL for the third and fourth time on February 29 and October 31 this year.
Mulaney appeared to be in good spirits during his December 2nd appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! where he admitted he was ‘going totally crazy’ during quarantine.
