SOAP star icon Susan Lucci has stunned in a skintight strapless red gown at a fancy gala in New York.
On Wednesday night, the All My Children alum arrived on the red carpet with her adorable dog.
The two attended the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women Red Dress Collection event in the Big Apple.
At the Appel Room in Lincoln Center, the ambassador for the American Heart Association donned a sparkly red dress with an extended skirt with feathers.
The soap opera legend smiled at the camera as she bared her chest and shoulders.
Susan, 77, showed off her long, highlighted curling to her shoulders.
She accessorized with a silver bracelet and matching ring.
The Invitation to Hell scream queen opened up about her 2018 cardiac trauma to People.
“I came out of it knowing that I just had to pass my good luck on,” Susan said.
“I couldn’t keep that good luck for myself. I couldn’t.”
“I didn’t realize how close I came to a fatal heart attack,” she continued.
“It’s important for everyone to know their family history.
“I don’t think that I ever mentioned my dad’s family history to a doctor,” Susan ended.
A SPECIAL AWARD
The star’s appearance at the Red Dress Collection gala came after being honored at the Daytime Emmy Awards.
She received the Lifetime Achievement Award for her 40-year run as Erica Kane on the ABC show.
“How lucky was I to be put in the hands of (creator) Agnes Nixon?” Susan said after accepting the award.
“Agnes was the trailblazer. She was the visionary storyteller who gave me the part of a lifetime: The fabulously flawed Erica Kane.”
She also thanked her son, Andreas Huber, and late husband, Helmut Huber.
“It means so much to me to have [Andreas] here with me,” she went on.
“And you know what else? I feel your dad’s presence here tonight with us, too. I thank my husband, Helmut Huber, because he has everything to do with my standing up here tonight, and receiving this incredible award,” she ended.
‘A FAMILY MAN’
In March 2022, Huber, 84, died peacefully in his sleep in Long Island, New York.
“A family man, he was a loyal friend and loved them deeply,” a representative for the family said in a statement.
“With a roaring sense of humor, a larger-than-life personality, and a practical problem-solver, he lived his life to the fullest.
“Mr. Huber, who formerly raced motorcycles in Austria was a first-rate skier, and avid golfer, belonging to the Garden City Golf Club and Westhampton Country Club.”
In addition to his wife and children, Liza and Andreas, Huber is survived by his eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
