SOPHIE Turner has clapped back at party girl claims and opened up about the hardships of her divorce from Joe Jonas in a new interview.
In September 2023, the Game of Thrones star and Joe, 34, “amicably” ended their marriage of four years.
While married to the Jonas Brothers vocalist, Sophie, 28, gave birth to their daughters, Willa, four, and Delphine, one.
The legal custody of whom quickly became a court battle after the pair split.
“There were some days that I didn’t know if I was going to make it,” Sophie told British Vogue in their June 2024 issue.
Weeks after Joe filed for divorce, the X-Men: Apocalypse actress sued the singer for the return of their daughters to England after she moved from their home in Miami, Florida to London.
Sophie and Joe registered England as their permanent residence in April 2023, and the actress claimed that her estranged husband was refusing to turn over the children’s passports.
In a statement, Joe’s reps chalked up the situation as “an unfortunate legal disagreement about a marriage that is sadly ending.”
The lawsuit was later dismissed and the former couple reached a custody agreement.
Sophie told British Vogue, “I would call my lawyer saying, ‘I can’t do this. I just can’t.’”
“I was just never strong enough to stand up for myself. And then, finally, after two weeks of me being in a rut, she reminded me that it was my children I was fighting for,” she added.
The Dark Phoenix star continued, “Once anyone says to me, ‘Do it for your kids,’ I’m doing it. I wouldn’t do it for myself, but I’ll find the strength for them.”
Last year, Sophie and Joe announced their separation in a joint statement on Instagram.

In the statement, the couple revealed that they had “mutually decided” to “amicably” end their marriage.
During the interview, Sophie addressed the rumors that her alleged lifestyle, which included partying while Joe stayed home to attend to their children, led to the separation.
“I mean, those were the worst few days of my life,” she admitted.
Sophie continued, “I remember I was on set, I was contracted to be on set for another two weeks, so I couldn’t leave.
“My kids were in the States and I couldn’t get to them because I had to finish Joan. And all these articles started coming out.”
The Joan star confessed, “It hurt because I really do completely torture myself over every move I make as a mother – mum guilt is so real! I just kept having to say to myself, ‘None of this is true. You are a good mum and you’ve never been a partier.'”
PARIS ROMANCE
Last year, a little over a month after her split from Joe, Sophie was spotted sharing a tender kiss with aristocrat Peregrine Pearson, whose family are said to be worth approximately $284million.
After the romantic, Paris-located smooch, the pair parted in chauffeur-driven cars before reuniting later at the city’s Stade de France where Sophie unveiled the Rugby World Cup trophy.

Peregrine, 29, heir of the 4th Viscount Cowdray, split from King Charles’s goddaughter, model Princess Maria-Olympia of Greece and Denmark, 27, in September 2023.
An onlooker who saw Sophie with Peregrine, Perry to his friends, at the Gare du Nord railway station said the pair were “laughing a lot”.
They added, “They arrived together at the chauffeur pick-up location outside of the station. It looked like they might have both come on the Eurostar from London.
“They stood there for a few minutes and were chatting and laughing a lot.
“He then took his hat off and leaned in to give her a big kiss. After the kiss they parted ways.”
‘THAT WAS QUICK’
Last month, Joe’s fans spotted a clue that his new girlfriend Stormi Bree, 33, might be expecting after she posted then deleted a photo on Instagram.
Stormi and Joe were first spotted together in January 2024, and an insider confirmed their romance, according to Us Weekly.
In the since-deleted post, Stormi shared several sunny photos.
The social media star sported flawless makeup and allowed her brunette hair loose as she had a digital camera hanging from her arm.
Stormi’s pose also caused her white crop top to pull upward, revealing her bare belly in a loose dungaree wrap skirt.
She quickly deleted the photo from the post, but a follower reposted the pic on Reddit.
“Is Stormi Bree pregnant with Joe Jonas’ baby? A new baby Jonas coming soon,” they captioned the repost.
In response to the original poster’s theory, many other fans agreed that Stormi looked like she could be pregnant.
“Well that was quick…” one person said.
“That sure does look like a very pregnant belly button to me,” another fan claimed.
“Woah it takes a min for your belly button to pop out like that too…” a third fan added.
