- She was raised by her mother who was a hospital clinical technician and her father was a delivery man.
- At the age of 6, Tamara began taking part in school plays. While in secondary school, she was unable to opt for theatre as they did offer the program until year 10. Tamara took it upon herself to talk to her drama teacher to begin theater lessons for her younger peers.
- Tamara was one of eight winners in the Poetry Society’s nationwide poetry competition 2012 SLAMbassadors UK. She was 17 years old at the time.
