TEEN Mom star Ryan Edwards’ pregnant girlfriend, Amanda Conner, has been banned from seeing his children with his estranged wife, Mackenzie, an insider says.
Amanda, 33, announced her pregnancy over TikTok after weeks of speculation.
The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal that though the star will be welcoming a child with Ryan, 36, she cannot be present during his visitation with children Jagger, 6, and Stella, 4.
“Amanda is not allowed to be around the kids. If they don’t follow it, it will dismantle Ryan’s custody,” an insider exclusively claimed to The U.S. Sun.
“He gets the kids every other Saturday at 12 pm to Sunday at 6 pm at his mom Jen’s house.”
The source claimed Ryan “made it a huge deal in court that he be allowed to come with Jen to pick kids up” from Mackenzie, but he allegedly “hasn’t done it a single time.”
Ryan has posted photos of Jagger and Stella on social media at his mother’s Tennessee home, as his girlfriend Amanda hasn’t been present.
Ryan and Mackenzie are still married, as the insider claimed Ryan is the one who has been postponing their divorce.
“He has done nothing to move it forward,” the source claimed.
“He either fires a lawyer or doesn’t show up.”
According to their divorce case, a hearing to adopt a temporary parenting plan has been postponed at least four times.
Ryan’s lawyer withdrew from the case in July 2022 as a new attorney filed to represent the Teen Mom: The Next Chapter star.
The next court hearing will take place on October 28.
Amanda seemingly confirmed she cannot be around the children in a recent TikTok video.
“We are going birthday shopping. Ryan’s son is turning six and unfortunately, I won’t be able to be there,” she said.
She then posted the toys she purchased for both Jagger and Stella.
One user commented on the video, “Even if you aren’t able to come, it’s about the kids and the dad should be there. Even if dad’s girlfriend isn’t able to come or isn’t invited to come.”
Amanda responded, “He is always there when they are allowed over… I can assure you that.”
The insider told The U.S. Sun the birthday party Amanda missed was at Ryan’s mom Jen’s house.
Amanda and a lawyer for Ryan have not responded to The U.S. Sun’s request for comment.
FAMILY MATTERS
While Amanda is allegedly banned from Ryan and Mackenzie’s children, she has developed a relationship with his son Bentley, 15, and ex Maci Bookout.
Amanda has been featured on Teen Mom: The Next Chapter hanging out with Maci and Bentley.
She and Ryan often get together with Maci and Bentley, as they have spent holidays together and have posted at dinner.
MARRIAGE OVER
Mackenzie, 28, filed for divorce from Ryan in February 2023 after accusing him of abuse.
Mackenzie also filed an Order of Protection in March 2023.
The order asked Ryan to have no contact and stay away from her.
She requested she be granted temporary custody of her children and for Ryan to pay child and spousal support – plus all of the court fees.
Additionally, she requested the court mandate Ryan give up possession of two guns.
Mackenzie sought for Ryan to join a counseling and substance abuse program.
The Order of Protection was dropped at a July 14, 2023 court hearing to allow Ryan to speak with their children through her.
Then, The U.S. Sun obtained exclusive photos of Ryan and Mackenzie reuniting in August 2023 outside of his rehab facility.
Ryan and Mackenzie did five laps on public sidewalks around Cadas before parting ways.
During their walk, the exes had moments of laughs and flirtation, though the two did not touch during the encounter.
But the two didn’t reconcile, as he began dating Amanda around the same time after meeting in rehab in the summer of 2023.
Mackenzie and Ryan’s divorce was dismissed in February 2024 because there were no filings for 270 days.
RYAN EDWARDS’ RELATIONSHIP STRUGGLES
Ryan Edwards and his estranged wife, Mackenzie, have also been in court over their divorce and custody of their kids:
Ryan is battling Mackenzie, 28, while trying to divorce her.
Mackenzie filed for divorce from her husband in February 2023 after getting married in 2017.
The U.S. Sun previously reported the divorce was dismissed in February 2024, because there were no filings in the case for 270 days.
Ryan then filed his own divorce case against his estranged wife.
According to a Tennessee court docket viewed by The U.S. Sun, Ryan filed for “divorce with minor child” in early March.
He also filed a permanent proposed parenting plan.
Ryan requested to be the “designated the primary residential parent” of their two children and “that child support be assigned from Mackenzie’s income.”
The U.S. Sun also reported Mackenzie filed an order of protection against Ryan on March 28, 2023.
The order asked Ryan to have no contact and stay away from her.
In early April 2024, a hearing took place and both parties agreed to a mutual restraining order.
CUSTODY BATTLE
Ryan then filed a new complaint for divorce on March 6, 2024, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
In court documents obtained by The U.S. Sun, Ryan requested split custody of their children.
Ryan requested he be the “designated the primary residential parent” and “that child support be assigned from [Mackenzie’s] income.”
Mackenzie never responded to the filing.
MEET AMANDA
Amanda has a lengthy criminal history, including drug charges, as she has been open about her substance abuse issues on Teen Mom: The Next Chapter.
She recently revealed over TikTok that she is over a year sober.
Amanda confirmed she is pregnant over the weekend with multiple TikTok posts revealing her bump.
In one video, Ryan kissed and rubbed her bare stomach while in bed.
In another video, Amanda responded to a fan who had called her out for using her vape pen.
The fan commented, “The vape isn’t good for the baby.”
Amanda wrote, “Currently working on putting the vape down. Thank you so much for your concern.”
She also shared with another fan, “This has been a rough pregnancy.”
RYAN’S LEGAL TROUBLES
Ryan’s sobriety and new relationship come after a year of legal trouble.
He was sentenced to nearly one year in Silverdale Detention Center in April 2023 after Ryan was arrested for drinking under the influence, harassment, and drug possession charges.
He was released from prison in July 2023 and entered Cadas Rehab in Chattanooga, Tennessee to complete a 28-day program.
After completing the program, he was ordered to the Oasis halfway house, located on the same property as Cadas, during a court hearing in August 2023.
Ryan was then arrested in December 2023 for not following the terms of his probation.
He was released weeks later and has stayed out of trouble.
