TEEN Mom star Ryan Edwards will be married to another woman when his fiancee, Amanda Conner, gives birth to their first child together, as mediation with his estranged wife Mackenzie has failed.

Ryan, 36, has been in tumultuous divorce proceedings with his estranged wife Mackenzie, 27, since she filed for divorce in February 2023.

On December 6, the couple attempted to come to an agreement in mediation to end their six-year marriage officially.

The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal mediation was unsuccessful, as the parties will likely not be divorced when Ryan welcomes his daughter with Amanda in February.

“Mackenzie wanted a slow transition for Amanda to meet their children,” a source exclusively told The U.S. Sun. “She wanted Ryan to exercise his parenting rights with their new agreement for four months and then slowly introduce the kids to Amanda.

“But Ryan wanted to have the children meet her immediately.”

According to the insider, the children go to his mom Jen and dad Larry’s Tennessee home every other weekend, where Ryan is allowed to have parenting time with them.

“The judge gives him overnight and he doesn’t do it,” the source claimed. “Mackenzie wanted to see how one night supervised with the children would go, but he hasn’t participated in a single overnight visit.”

The insider added, “They won’t be divorced by the time the baby comes in February.

“If Ryan wanted it to be over, it would be over.”

The Ashley’s Reality Roundup was the first to report on the failed mediation.

Mackenzie and Ryan refused to respond to The U.S. Sun’s request for comment.

Ryan is expecting his first child with his fiancee Amanda in February.

He is dad to Jagger, 6, and Stella, 4, with Mackenzie, and son Bentley, 16, with ex-fiance Maci Bookout.

DIVORCE DRAMA

Ryan and Mackenzie have blamed each other for stalling the divorce proceedings.

Ryan requested a judge approve a date for mediation to end his marriage to Mackenzie in a Motion to Continue filed on November 20.

Ryan claimed Mackenzie hadn’t filed the proper information to help move forward with the divorce.

“[Ryan] propounded to [Mackenzie] certain interrogatories and requests for production on May 15, 2024.

“The court ordered [Ryan] to respond by June 20, 2024. [Ryan] filed a Motion to Compel which is currently pending to be heard on November 25, 2024.

“Due to [Mackenzie’s] failure to provide discovery answers, [Ryan] is unable to complete the requested documents in this case.”

The filing also notes how the court ordered the parties to return to mediation.

He requested Mackenzie file her discovery responses no later than December 2 and that the judge schedule mediation in the case instead of a trial.

But Mackenzie insisted to The U.S. Sun, “Ryan Edwards has requested that our hearing for divorce be pushed back four separate times.

“He has a child on the way, and is reportedly engaged to Amanda. I wish he would be more willing to close this chapter between us and focus on what lies ahead for himself.”

According to their divorce case, a hearing to adopt a temporary parenting plan has been postponed by Ryan at least four times.

In one instance, the proceedings were stalled when Ryan’s lawyer withdrew from the case in July 2022 as a new attorney filed to represent the Teen Mom: The Next Chapter star.

IT’S OVER

Mackenzie filed to end the marriage in February 2023 after accusing him of abuse.

She then filed an Order of Protection in March 2023.

The order asked Ryan to have no contact and stay away from her.

She requested she be granted temporary custody of her children and for Ryan to pay child and spousal support.

Mackenzie sought for Ryan to join a counseling and substance abuse program at the time of the filing.

Ryan told The U.S. Sun at the time of the abuse claims, “I don’t speak for her. I never wanted to hurt her, just tried telling her I would have loved to work on it because I still at the time wanted to.”

The Order of Protection was dropped at a July 14, 2023 court hearing to allow Ryan to speak with their children through her.

Then, The U.S. Sun obtained exclusive photos of Ryan and Mackenzie reuniting in August 2023 outside of his rehab facility.

Despite spending time together, he began dating Amanda after meeting at rehab in the summer of 2023.

CUSTODY BATTLE

Mackenzie and Ryan’s divorce was dismissed in February 2024 because there were no filings for 270 days.

Ryan then filed a new complaint for divorce on March 6, 2024, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

In court documents obtained by The U.S. Sun, Ryan requested split custody of their children.

Ryan requested he be the “designated the primary residential parent” and “that child support be assigned from [Mackenzie’s] income.”

Mackenzie never responded to the filing and the case was consolidated with the original divorce.

CHILD SUPPORT REQUEST

Mackenzie requested child support from Ryan in October, as she claims he has “refused” to pay.

Mackenzie said Ryan is employed and has income from MTV’s Teen Mom

“Because mother has physical custody of the parties’ two children and father is gainfully employed, the Court should order child support to be paid by Father to Mother during the pendency of this case, and at the final hearing said child support obligation be made permanent,” court papers claimed.

Mackenzie listed her monthly income as $3,000.

Her “good faith estimate of income” for Ryan is $18,440 a month.

She claims Jagger and Stella are with her 365 days of the year, while they’re with Ryan “zero days.”

The former MTV star requested the court set current child support and retroactive child support back to the date of separation.

RYAN EDWARDS’ RELATIONSHIP STRUGGLES

Ryan Edwards and his estranged wife, Mackenzie, have also been in court over their divorce and custody of their kids:

Ryan is battling Mackenzie, 28, while trying to divorce her.

Mackenzie filed for divorce from her husband in February 2023 after getting married in 2017.

The U.S. Sun previously reported the divorce was dismissed in February 2024, because there were no filings in the case for 270 days.

Ryan then filed his own divorce case against his estranged wife.

According to a Tennessee court docket viewed by The U.S. Sun, Ryan filed for “divorce with minor child” in early March.

He also filed a permanent proposed parenting plan.

Ryan requested to be the “designated the primary residential parent” of their two children and “that child support be assigned from Mackenzie’s income.”

The U.S. Sun also reported Mackenzie filed an order of protection against Ryan on March 28, 2023.

The order asked Ryan to have no contact and stay away from her.

In early April 2024, a hearing took place and both parties agreed to a mutual restraining order.

CUSTODY PLAN

The U.S. Sun previously reported Ryan sees Jagger and Stella “every other Saturday at 12 pm to Sunday at 6 pm at his mom Jen’s house.”

His fiance Amanda is “not allowed to be around the kids” because of her history of drug-related legal trouble.

Amanda recently revealed she has been sober for over a year.

RYAN’S LEGAL TROUBLES

Ryan’s sobriety comes after a year of legal trouble of his own.

He was sentenced to nearly one year in Silverdale Detention Center in April 2023 after Ryan was arrested for drinking under the influence, harassment, and drug possession charges.

He was released from prison in July 2023 and entered Cadas Rehab in Chattanooga, Tennessee to complete a 28-day program.

After completing the program, he was ordered to the Oasis halfway house, located on the same property as Cadas, during a court hearing in August 2023.

Ryan was then arrested in December 2023 for not following the terms of his probation.

He was released weeks later and has stayed out of trouble.
