She the smoothed out the doona cover with her hands and left it to dry.

When she returned the cover was virtually wrinkle free.

How can I make Carolina’s release spray?

INGREDIENTS

 2 cups of water

1/4 cup of rubbing alcohol

1/4 cup of fabric softener

METHOD

Combine the ingredients in a spray bottle. Spray directly onto your linen, including sheets and doona covers.

Smooth over with your hands and then allow the sheets to dry.

‘This works for clothes too but you can also take cold water spray it on your shirt rub it in and let it air dry! by the time you leave out you’ll be mostly wrinkle free,’ one mum responded to one of the comments.

But not everyone was impressed with the hack.

‘If you did this in Ireland your bed would be wet for a week and you would get pneumonia,’ one woman warned.

While others said the bed ‘still looked like a mess’ in the ‘after pictures.

Both rubbing alcohol and fabric softener are also flammable – so must be used with caution.

‘I love a good wrinkle release – if only fabric softener wasn’t loaded with so many chemicals,’ one woman said on the post.

Some of the mum’s fans stuck up for her.

‘I love watching your videos but hate the comment section. So many people have their own corrections and tips – why don’t they just open their own page,’ one said.

Others agreed wrinkles of ‘real linen’ is part of the charm.
