TIKTOK star Alix Earle has plans to expand her brand after her Hot Mess podcast was dropped from Alex Cooper’s Unwell network.
Alix, 24, found fame on TikTok with her popular get ready with me videos, as her 7.3 million followers watched her transition from a hard-partying college student to an entrepreneur.
In 2023, she joined Call Her Daddy host Alex’s Unwell network and launched her Hot Mess podcast before it was dropped in February of this year.
The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal Alix has other plans to expand her growing empire, including a new podcast idea.
Alix’s business AAE Holding Company, Inc filed trademarks for Earle Girls and Gearles in November 2024.
The trademarks “provide podcasts featuring discussions of collegiate life, post-collegiate life and young adulthood, relationship, lifestyle, entertainment, travel, fitness, and health and wellness issues.
“Providing online non-downloadable audio and audiovisual content featuring discussions of collegiate life, post-collegiate life and young adulthood, relationship, lifestyle, entertainment, travel, fitness, and health and wellness issues; entertainment services.”
The trademarks, which are both pending, also cover clothing, footgear and headgear.
Alix also has two pending trademarks filed in November 2024 for her name, Alix Earle.
One of the trades covers, “Retail store services for cosmetics, skin care products, hair care products, perfume, clothing and footwear, jewelry, alcoholic beverages.”
The trademark also covers medicated skincare products, headgear and beer specifically.

The second trademark under her name covers, “Retail store services for nutritional supplements, eyewear, electronic games, watches, bags, umbrellas, leather goods, cosmetic tools, housewares, dishes, cups, coffee, tea and energy drinks.
“Ecommerce services; sponsorship services; influencer services; influencer marketing services; promoting the goods and services of others through influencers.”
NEW BUSINESS
As seen in the trademarks, Alix is already moving forward with an alcohol brand by investing in a company.
She said in a February get ready with me video, “There is an alcohol company launching soon and I am investing in it.
“I wanted to do something in the alcohol space since I graduated college. I’ve been trying to find some way to get involved.”
Alix said the brand has been around, but never took off.
She continued, “The other cool part of this is it could completely fail. It’s scary, I’m scared. There’s a lot that goes into it and having something start up is scary, but I believe in it.
“I believe in the team and the product and I’m very excited.”

In February, Variety reported Hot Mess was abruptly pulled from the network’s schedule, according to SiriusXM sources.
The insider claimed Unwell renounced all rights to Hot Mess, allowing Alix to keep the name.
Alix addressed the drama in a February 28 TikTok video, as she called her week “meh” and said, “Obviously, there’s been a lot of chatter online this week about me and work.
“And I also have no idea what’s going on.”
FEUD RUMORS
The podcast being pulled came after months of feud rumors between Alix and Alex, 30.
Alix was one of the first people to be signed by Alex for her Unwell network, as she was brought on along with Madeline Argy.
Fans noticed Alix wasn’t as active on Unwell’s social accounts as other talent.
In January, Alix skipped the Unwell Super Bowl party in New Orleans despite being in town for the game.
Last year, Alix also said in an episode of her podcast that she’s made “career mistakes,” but didn’t explain exactly what she was referencing.
Fans have been speculating why the two women fell out, with some believing Alix had outgrown podcasting.
“I think Alix doesn’t actually enjoy podcasting and wants to do other projects instead of getting pods out every week and that content isn’t her strong suit,” wrote one person on TikTok.
Another added, “Alix Earle could care less she’s now bigger than Alex Cooper.”
A third wrote, “I like them both but I don’t think podcasting is the right outlet for Alix. I love her TikTok but couldn’t get through 10 minutes of her pod.”
Others speculated Alix changed her image from being a “hot mess” to more professional, which is off brand for the podcast.
While Alix shares her life with followers, she keeps intimate parts of her relationship with NFL boyfriend Braxton Berrios private.
A fan speculated over TikTok, “Alix is actually staying away from Alex Cooper because she doesn’t want her brand to be all about sex.
“You could tell how uncomfy she was during their podcast together.”
Another said, “Alix is more conservative in the sense that she’s not open about her sex life etc. Alex Cooper and Hallie are very raunchy and that’s their brand…”
“Alix is going in a different direction and that’s okay.”
Another person penned, “Alix is classier than those with Unwell. Even her manager (her dad) made a comment when he was on Alix’s podcast, something along the lines of being more professional and less raunchy.”
