TOM Cruise showed off his wild longer hairdo as he arrived at a heliport in London.
The action star, 61, revealed his “Mop Gun” hair as he piloted a helicopter while preparing to film scenes for Mission Impossible 8.
Tom wore a navy jumper and navy jeans teamed with bright white sneakers for the outing.
The Top Gun actor, who is a qualified pilot, beamed as he chatted to an official at the heliport before getting into the pilot’s seat.
The Sun exclusively revealed that he used the helicopter to fly in cast and crew to film scenes for Mission Impossible 8.
He went into crisis mode to make sure filming carried on when the motorway, the M25, closed for the weekend.
Filming of his eighth spy flick was taking place near the five-mile stretch that was shut.
A source said, “The M25 closure is a headache for most people but not for Tom. He is so keen to keep Mission: Impossible 8 in production that he’s got helicopters on standby in London to fly his crew over to Longcross.
“It sounds excessive but delaying work on the film is a bigger problem and Tom is such a professional — he’d move heaven and Earth to keep the show on the road.
“Staff on the movie or stars who are needed for filming have been told if they can’t get to Longcross because of the M25 closures they’ll be flown in by chopper.”

The insider concluded, “It’s a feat that is just like a scene out of one of Tom’s films.”
Tom, who plays field agent Ethan Hunt in the franchise and performs his own stunts, was filming in England earlier this month along with co-stars Simon Pegg and Hayley Atwell.
The latest movie was due to hit cinemas this summer but has been delayed by almost a year because of the Hollywood actors’ strikes.
Tom has also been facing struggles in his private life as he has reportedly split from Russian socialite Elisina Khayrova.
He started dating Elsina, who is 25 years his junior, at the end of last year.
Friends revealed Tom cooled off his romance with the 36-year-old but wanted to remain friends because they live in the same apartment block in London.
Elsina is the daughter of Russian politician Rinat Khayrov and ex-wife of a diamond-trading oligarch.
“To end things on a bad note would’ve been awkward if they bumped into each other in the lift,” a source said.
“There are no hard feelings between them and, for Tom, their relationship simply ran its course.”
The Sun revealed Tom and Elsina had several dates in December.
He hired out a floor of the posh Novikov restaurant for them and took her to Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland.
