TOM Holland and Zendaya are engaged, with the British actor’s father now confirming the rumors were true.
Dominic Holland has confirmed that his son, Tom, 28, popped the question to his longtime girlfriend Zendaya, also 28.
Dune actress Zendaya sparked speculation after debuting a sparkling diamond on her ring finger at the Golden Globes on Sunday.
Tom’s dad then cleared up speculation on Friday when he wrote a blog post about his son’s proposal.
In the post that confirmed his son’s engagement, he contrasted how Tom approached his proposal to how he handled his proposal to Tom’s mother Nikki.
Writing on his Patreon account, Dominic penned: “Tom, as you know by now was very incredibly well prepared. He had purchased a ring.
“He had spoken with her father and gained permission to propose to his daughter.
“Tom had everything planned out… When, where, how, what to say, what to wear…
“I on the other hand was woefully ill-prepared, almost as though I wasn’t taking it seriously.”
Tom’s father then went on to say how he has worried about how the spotlight could put a strain on their relationship.
“I do fret that their combined stardom will amplify their spotlight and the commensurate demands on them and yet they continually confound me by handling everything with aplomb,” he said.

“And even though show-business is a messy place for relationships and particularly so for famous couples as they crash and burn in public and are too numerous to mention.

“With us an example, with Nikki helming this family and my ‘wisdom’ on tap and a study in getting things mostly wrong and yet somehow right at the same time, I am completely confident they will make a successful union.”
This comes after sources told TMZ that Tom popped the question in a romantic and intimate setting.
Zendaya unveiled the ring, made by British jeweler Jessica McCormack, at the Golden Globes, where she lost out to Demi Moore in the Best Actress category.
LOWKEY ROMANCE
The couple kept their relationship private after they were confirmed to be dating in 2021.
However, Tom and Zendaya began dating while filming Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016.
The pair denied dating rumors during the press tour for Spider-Man: Homecoming, but in 2017, People reported that they were dating.
In November 2024, before the pair became engaged, Zendaya raved about working with Tom in an interview with Vanity Fair.

“You feel extra safe with the person you’re acting beside,” she said.
“I love working with him. He’s so talented, and so passionate about what he does.
“He always gives things one thousand percent, even if he’s absolutely worn down. I really appreciate that about him.”
