VANDERPUMP Rules star Katie Maloney’s new boyfriend Nick Martin has a long history of “cheating” and “lying,” three of the rocker’s ex-girlfriends have exclusively claimed to The U.S. Sun.
The Sleeping With Sirens guitarist has also been accused of “making a complete joke” out of women while he was still married to his wife – whom he is now in the process of divorcing.
Vanderpump Rules veteran Katie, 37, announced last month that she was in a new relationship with Nick, 41, and gushed about what a “good guy” the musician is.
Shortly after, Nick’s exes spoke out to give more insight into who they say Nick “truly” is – and not the “facade” they feel he shows the world.
‘NEVER MENTIONED HIS WIFE’
Bruna Unsworth was just 13 years old when she first became a fan of Sleeping With Sirens and never could’ve imagined the pain the band member would cause her more than a decade later.
“I was a fan of the band but I never really followed them or anything. I just listened to their music. One day [recently], I decided to check up if they were still touring and they were actually touring the UK, so I bought a last-minute ticket on resale and went to the concert on my own,” London-based Bruna, who is now 27, told The U.S. Sun.
She continued: “I went to their concert on March 19th, 2023 in Manchester. During the whole show, Nick kept looking at me, as I stood near him.
“A girl that was behind me even tapped my shoulder and went ‘I think he’s in love with you because he keeps coming here to sing at you.’ After the show, I took a picture with Nick and I posted some stories from the show and started following the guys from the band.”
Bruna then explained how Nick saw a tagged photo and began to message her often and they continued carrying on conversations in the following weeks – all while, unbeknownst to her, Nick was still married.
After hanging out together in London, Nick and Bruna then “texted on a daily basis” and would exchange messages throughout the day, even when he was touring and traveling.
“He’d made me feel like part of his daily life, like sending me photos of ordinary things that he was doing or places he was at. He used to tell me about his whole day, what he was up to etc.
“He used to really open up to me, talk about his struggles, he used to say he never opened up like this to anyone and made me feel very special. This texting back and forward carried on for the next seven months.”

In October 2023, Nick invited Bruna to his show in Denver, Colorado – so she booked a flight from England to check out the concert and spent a few nights together.
“I went to the show, then went back to the hotel and on the first night, just as we were about to have sex, he said ‘Do you know about my life?’ I said ‘No, what do you mean?’
“He said he had a public life and I said I didn’t really look much into it. He then said he was married, as he was on top of me in bed, and said he had a really bad relationship with his wife though and he didn’t want to carry on married, they were going to get a divorce.
“We both just carried on talking and he passed off this victim vibe about his relationship. We didn’t end up doing anything physical on the first night, just watched a TV show and went to sleep. During the previous months we were talking, he never mentioned his wife, ever.
“He didn’t post any pictures with her either. He literally waited until I was in a hotel room with him, as we were about to sleep together, to drop me the ‘news.’”
She claimed he was very “convincing” in his story about being the “victim” in a toxic relationship and she ended up believing him – leading them to have sex the following night.
They continued having fun the remainder of their trip and kept in close touch after he resumed his tour and she flew back home.
“I started to get real feelings for him and told him that. He said he also had feelings for me, he used to message me saying that I was the best thing that happened in his life… and the whole time he kept saying horrible things about his wife, that she was toxic.
“He used to FaceTime me various times or send me videos of around 3 minutes long saying how much he just wanted to be with me. He used to send me pictures all the time,” Bruna said.
In December 2023, Bruna said that Nick booked a surprise trip to the U.K. to spend her 27th birthday with her and stay at her home for 10 days.
However, she made it clear to him that she would not see him if he was still married, as it made her feel “uncomfortable.”
“Two days before he was flying over, he said he had a talk with his wife and ended things with her. So he came [to U.K.] and we spent a few days in Liverpool, then went on a weekend trip to Paris for my birthday, went to Disneyland, then we spent the last week in London.
“During the trip, he said he loved me multiple times, and that we were going to see each other in a few months, told me he wanted me to visit his hometown in San Diego.
“He was always this sweet, lovely guy. I couldn’t think anything wrong of him. I swear at the time, I thought he was the loveliest guy I had ever met.
‘HE GHOSTED ME’
“Then he left to go back home and then all of a sudden he went cold. He was ghosting me. So I noticed something was wrong but I didn’t want to keep texting him because I thought he was grieving his fresh divorce and needed some time.
“Then a week later, his wife posted a story on Instagram which had his hand on it. I sent him a message and he texted me back instantly. Then I sent all the evidence to [his wife] and told her what he had been up to for the past 10 months.”
Bruna then revealed that Nick’s wife called her and they spoke on the phone for over an hour – where she claimed that he “never” once had a conversation with her about divorcing during the entirety of his secret relationship.
The last time Bruna spoke to Nick was on February 7th, 2024 – the day she messaged his wife about their relationship.
She reflected on the end of their relationship and where it has led her now: “Everything is still very fresh so it’s still affecting me mentally. I haven’t dated anyone after him and it kind of put me off being involved with anyone. Before him, I had worked on myself so much to be able to trust again and be able to enter a healthy relationship.
“But after him, I feel that all that work I had done on myself has regressed. His tactics were very different from what you read in the books. It’s scary because I would’ve never thought that he was the person he’s shown to be.
“I trust the universe and that everything in life happens for a reason, so I take it as a lesson, but it’s gonna take a while to pick up the pieces and pull myself back up from this traumatic experience.”
When asked what message she would have for Katie, Bruna said: “She seems like a strong, empowered woman. I’m sure she’ll know what to do, she just needs to trust her gut.
“I’m a girl’s girl and I’ve warned someone previously about him because I felt that was the right thing to do.
“Even if she doesn’t see it now, time will show his true colors but I really hope that she listens to the warnings about him at this early stage, to save her from the heartache and damage in the future. It’s just not worth it.”
Shortly after Bruna contacted her, Nick’s wife filed for divorce – which has yet to be finalized and remains ongoing.
‘I MADE A HUGE MISTAKE’
Danielle Angie, who began dating Nick in July 2024 after 13 years of friendship, also spoke to The U.S. Sun about her experience with her former pal – and how she learned Nick was cheating on her with Katie.
“We used to be roommates and good friends for years. But once he got in his marriage, he cut every female he knew out of his life.
“After his separation, I noticed more recently he re-followed me and started liking my stuff. So I thought he was opening the door to our friendship,” she said.
From that point on, the two began flirting over texts and Nick regularly responded to Danielle’s photos with fire and devil emojis.
“At first I was like ‘that’s weird, Nick is hitting on me that’s a weird thing for a friend to do.’ It was very confusing because we were friends over 10 years ago and then since he got married, haven’t even said ‘hi’ since then.”
Danielle then opened up about their relationship progressing during a scary time she had in the hospital – including needing a major surgery shortly after reconnecting with Nick.
“Nick was messaging me all day every day, like ‘Are you okay?’ and ‘I’m here for you,’ and ‘I can send you anything you need.’ I was like, ‘Wow, what a good guy.’
“Maybe I should finally give a good guy a chance because I wasn’t necessarily attracted to him, he’s my friend you know? But he was hitting on me and being super nice and so I opened that door and that was a huge mistake.”
‘NEVER THOUGHT HE’D PLAY ME’
Their romance continued getting deeper – with the pair planning multiple trips they would take in the future and even wanting to get a Disneyland annual pass after going to the theme park together in the past.
However, unbeknownst to Danielle, at the same time they were planning their future, Nick was allegedly already dating Katie.
“When it came to Katie, he would name-drop her and call her a friend. He was insistent they were just friends and it was ‘not like that.’ And at that point with us, things were getting hot and heavy.
“We were sending each other pictures all day which is fine because we’re adults and I thought it was just him and I. And I never thought that this person, my friend, would ever have this side to him. I never thought he’d play me.”
She continued: “One day he was supposed to visit me [in Nashville], but just before that he had ghosted me for a few days. Which was so weird because we talked all day, every day.
“Well I find out later it’s because he was with Katie. They went on a mini-trip somewhere and I had no idea. Then he ends up coming here, we hang out, go out, super flirty things are really good. I’m like ‘this is what I wanted.’
‘FROM A HIGH TO LOW’
“We have so many mutual friends so I let them all know it went great. All our friends were so happy like ‘yay Mom and Dad are together’ because we’re all a group. After, I get screenshots that the same messages he’s sending to me, he’s sending to Katie too.
“And the night before he flew out here to see me, he was with Katie at a Green Day concert. So he must have hopped on the plane to see me a couple hours after being with her. Once I finally figured all of this out and put the pieces together, I called him out on it. He then ghosted me for real and I haven’t talked to him since.”
Danielle admitted at that point she was “losing her mind” as she felt “so stupid” and “so foolish.”
She began to cry and said through tears: “It went from a high to a low. He made a complete joke out of me. I felt so much rejection and the ghosting was mentally really f**ked up.
“It really f**ked me up, I felt so betrayed and rejected and I wasn’t ready for it. After that is when I started piecing together all of his lies.”
‘HE NEEDS TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE’
Brandy Robidoux began dating Nick for several months earlier this year after meeting at their local coffee shop in March and “hit it off immediately.”
She said by the second or third time hanging out, it was “evident” they both wanted to be together.
“He’s very good at making people feel immediately close to him. He first called me his ‘girlfriend’ around April 1st,” Brandy said.
However, she claimed that Nick lied about his ongoing divorce and when she learned of the truth, their relationship began to crumble.
“There’s a lot more I can’t really talk about right now, but he flat out said his divorce was several weeks from being finalized in March. They are still currently married, and I just wish I had asked for more proof.
“It’s also one thing to do this to an industry executive in their 30s, but the fan aspect really bothers me. There’s plenty of people in the world, bands really don’t have to sleep with fans.
“I’m proud to be a part of the rock music scene for many reasons, but I think there’s still a long way to go when it comes to holding male band members accountable.”
She last saw Nick on September 6th – when he would have already been dating Katie – as they exchanged the last of their stuff.
Upon learning that other women have been negatively impacted by Nick in similar experiences, Brandy said that herself, along with a “handful of the other exes who spoke out” are going on a “healing girls trip” together this year.
“I received a lot of messages from other women, and fans, who have had relations with Nick that ended pretty negatively, so it was definitely validating.
“The most common thread has been him talking badly about other women. I live and vow to see the best in women, and he makes a point to see the worst in them.”
Nick and a rep for Sleeping With Sirens did not respond to The U.S. Sun’s request for comment.
Bravo star Katie revealed she had already gotten serious with a new man in her life back in early October.
Shortly after, The U.S. Sun confirmed that she was in a relationship with Nick as they share a “deep bond over music and have similar tastes.”
“It’s been exciting for her. It’s still new, started over the Summer but they’re happy and appear to be all-in for now.”
Despite the strong connection, the insider claimed that friends have also raised some concerns due to Nick’s rockstar lifestyle on the road, as well as more unflattering allegations from his past.
“Her friends have questions and concerns. He’s a touring musician so that will raise problems eventually. Some questionable decisions he’s made in the past have also made her friends compare him to Tom Schwartz.
“They love Katie and they just want to make sure Katie isn’t dating a Schwartz 2.0. Everyone knows she deserves so much better than that.”
