Following an 11-day hunt, Casey White, an escaped inmate, and Vicki White, a former correctional officer, were arrested in Indiana on Monday afternoon.
Vicky White shot herself in the head and was rushed to the hospital, where she eventually died.
Casey White was taken into custody earlier and was sent to the hospital with minor injuries.

Because of the serious gunshot wound, Vanderburgh County Sheriff Dave Wedding told Anderson Cooper 360 that he didn’t expect her to live the night.
Casey White and Vicky White allegedly fled in the vehicle on Highway 41 N, past Highway 57, and into a grassy area.

The search for Casey and Vicky White has ended in an Indiana police chase after nearly two weeks on the run.

He claimed they were followed in a Cadillac and that the chase was short.
Marshals said they were looking into a tip that the couple had left a 2006 Ford F-150 at a vehicle wash on South Weinbach Avenue in Evansville, Indiana.
On Friday, April 29, a nationwide search for Casey and Vicky White began.

Casey White and Vicky White were arrested after a significant tip was given to law enforcement by a sharp-eyed carwash manager in Evansville, Indiana.
Last week, James Stinson saw an unusual truck sitting at the carwash for an extended amount of time.

After attempting to run, authorities arrested the couple in a grassy location. The high-speed chase came to a halt when the truck rolled over.
On Tuesday, May 10 at 12 p.m. on the third floor of the Lauderdale County Courthouse, Casey White will have an emergency status conference.

Vicky White and Casey White had a special relationship according to detention center prisoners.
Casey White was arrested in Alabama for attempted murder and allegedly admitted to killing 59-year-old Alabama mother Connie Ridgeway in 2015.
Vicky White, a correctional officer, is suspected of assisting in his escape.
